I can no longer sleep under down like I could when I was much younger. It gets too hot. I was using regular blankets, but wanted something nicer. I bought the medium weight of this first and it is lovely, but just a little too warm for hubby and me. I then bought this lightweight one. I plan to save the heavier one for the coldest nights in winter or when there is only me in the bed and no extra body heat from hubby. This one is very light, but surprisingly warm (and breathable) and is fine now (Feb) through spring here in Texas. I almost think they need a weight in between the medium and this light one though. These are beautifully made, luxurious and breathable. Very well priced for what they are. Love the natural wool inside and beautiful cotton outside!

The comforter is warm, yet not too hot. Cozy but not too heavy. Wool, but washable. Nice quality but not too expensive. Love it!

I’ve been sleeping with this blanket for about a month and it’s been great. My husband is a hot sleeper and has no issues in freezing temps or lows in the 50s. It’s got a good weight to it but still super breathable. We put a 100% linen cover it to keep it breathable and everything has worked fine. Washed it twice so far on cold and low in the dryer and have had no issues.

The duvet is thin piece of wool covered in a smooth soft cover. This duvet is perfect for the Spring and Fall. It nicely made.

I do really like this wool duvet insert, and I would give it 5 stars if it had more loops to tie it to my duvet cover. It can shift a bit with just the corner loops. It has been a game changer with the warmer weather, so light but still cozy! It keeps both my hot sleeper husband and my cold blooded self comfortable. Love the wool interior, and the cotton shell.

Just slept with this comforter inside my duvet last night, loved it. First night in a long time that I haven’t woke up with hot sweats even though I sleep in an ice cold room. The material feels high-quality, the weight is light but not so light that it doesn’t have that pleasant cozy weight to wrap yourself in. Kept me warm enough to be comfy but not sweaty! That’s all I wanted. Good value for the price. & I appreciated that there was really no off-gassing period. I noticed a smell when I first opened it but it wasn’t a bad chemical smell or anything, just a noticeable scent? More like laundry I guess. I left it to air out according to instructions to let the fabric fluff up from the compression packaging. Any smell was gone after a couple of hours.

This insert is amazing. I have others that I love for winter, that are filled with down and made with 100% cotton and stuffed in a linen blend duvet cover. This one is the jacquard one made of wool and rayon, but it is so breathable and the perfect weight for summer. I can't imagine it getting too hot or cold, it's just perfect! I did put it inside a 100% cotton duvet.
