Twisted hate (twisted series) Paperback – May 5, 2022

I tore through the Twisted series way too fast and now I don’t know what to do with myself. Ana Huang seriously knows how to write swoony, complicated men and strong, smart women you root for.Each book has its own vibe, enemies to lovers, forbidden romance, fake dating, and they’re all equally addictive. The chemistry? 🔥 The drama? Delicious. The banter? 10/10.

I started this book with open mind, I loved Jules character from the previous stories. She’s a strong woman who reminds me of my self. I also grew to like Josh even though I was angry when he broke her heart. But I’m glad it all worked out at the end. Their love to hate relationship was cute. 4 stars from me.

Throughout her life, she goes through so much and grows into this amazing woman. Also, the fact that she’s a lawyer and puts so much time and effort into it? The tension and passion in their words and spats, is unbelievable. You can feel it through the pages. I just wanted them to kiss every time they fought!! Josh and Jules supremacy. Even though they denied their feelings for so long, it was so worth it!!! And how alike they really are? The conflict of this book however, around the 80% mark, seemed silly to me. I feel like it was slightly out of character for Jules to not confide in Josh, and the response to said conflict just seemed to be there so there was something. It didn’t bug me much, but I wished it were a bit better.“𝘽𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙚. Josh and Jules are an amazing couple, who fit so well together. The passion, the love, the banter. Yes, yes, yes. I was really looking forward to Jules and Josh’s story. It was obvious from earlier books that they would end up together. And I wanted to catch up on earlier characters, one being his former best friend now with Josh’s sister.Most of the book was good. The banter and the heat was on target. Then Josh did a terrible thing, and I would have liked to see him on an Alex level make up to Jules. It just fell short. She had some terrible experiences in her life, and even though he had been hurt as well, I thought his cruelty was over the top. But the angst was real, and I like some angst in my books.There is a lot of closure in this book for both of them, and I do like them as a couple. It’s worth the read for sure.

It had such a good enemies to lovers storyline while wrapping up all of the other books. It is definitely my favorite in the series.

The Twisted series is becoming one of my favorites for sure. Every book gets better and Twisted Hate was another winner for me. I’ve been interested in Jules and Josh since book one - separately and together. I loved their ambition, loved their “hate” for each other and loved when they finally came together. The book was fun, hot and spicy all in one and I enjoyed it very much! Excited for Stella next.

This series is amazing. If you love spicy romance books this is one of them to go to! It’s hard to stop reading once you get going. I can’t wait to finish the series!
