Affordable alternative to OEM Tesla spoiler, great customer service
If you are looking for a Tesla Y Performance model look, but don't want to pay the OEM price of eight C-notes, you may want to consider this one. As the age old saying goes, "You get what you pay for". Here are some observations you may find useful:1. To set your expectations, try googling "Tesla spoiler falling off". You'll find a lot of complaints from folks who bought the pricey performance model or OEM spoiler that these do not fit well or are falling off, and Tesla mobile coming by to reattach them only to have them fall off again. I personally have looked at a few performance models at parking lots, and I'd say about 3 out of 10 have fitment issues with their spoilers.2. With that being said, know that you are paying 1/4 the OEM price for this spoiler. That means its not going to be those plastic knock-offs which will definitely yellow over time and look terrible, particularly if you leave your Tesla outside in direct sunlight or heat. Plastic knock-offs just won't hold up as well. You'll know them because they are usually on this site selling for one C-note or less. This one is real carbon fiber so there's that going for it (more longevity and should keep its look longer).3. That being said, this is not the most perfect cut or treatment of carbon fiber. If you look at my spoiler sideways or at an angle, you will see waves and imperfections in the spoiler. You don't see these in the OEM spoiler or more expensive versions from RPMTesla, for example. It's not bad and mostly only noticeable if you know what to look for.4. As others have noted, the double sided tape applied to the spoiler is questionable. Is it high quality? Is it 3M? Who knows. They don't make any promises. I will say, when I got mine, the red tape was coming off the spoiler. Obviously your spoiler will not stick to your car if the double sided tape is not properly stuck to the spoiler. This seems like such a QC misstep by the seller...I'm sure they get a lot of returns because when you try to push the red tape back onto the spoiler, you may wrinkle it or have it come off the edge of the spoiler. Or, you may not push it hard enough or long enough, or the inside spoiler surface may have already been contaminated in transit. All this leads to one thing: the red tape comes off of the spoiler more easily than it comes off the car. The result is the same: the spoiler comes off the car.5. The solution to this is to remove and reapply the red tape, or to purchase real 3M tape and apply that. In both cases, I would recommend thoroughly cleaning the inside spoiler surface, apply adhesion promoter, and letting it sit for a while.6. The final point: because this is real carbon fiber, it is rigid and will not bend. This means that if the spoiler does not fit the curvature of your car exactly, even the best tape in the world will not cause it to bend and hold on--eventually the carbon fiber will "win" and it will not adhere. Like others here, I found that the spoiler did not fit my trunk exactly, and it eventually came off at one corner. Honestly, I don't know whether this is the spoiler's fault, or Tesla's issue. This is my second Tesla and I wouldn't put it past Tesla that not all their trunks have the same curvature, or they've changed their mold since these spoilers were cut. If you are patient, you can move the spoiler around, up and down, while still staying mostly on center, to have the non-adhesive points look less obvious. For example, you could make it so the top edge adheres great...but the bottom edge, as you look up from the bottom of the car, has a gap. This is a terrible game of OCD that I hope you don't burn too much time and effort on before you realize it is unlikely this spoiler, or even the OEM spoiler, will attach perfectly.I would likely give this 3.5 stars, but I will say customer service has been very responsive, so evened it out at 4 sars. I don't believe the seller is in the US, given the hours of response--but whenever I have asked a question, it has been answered, and the seller even reimbursed my cost of 3M tape. I have not used it yet, as I learned the lessons above the hard way and my spoiler is currently half stuck to my Model Y, hanging off one edge. When it comes off more, I will remove it entirely, clean the surface of the inside spoiler and the trunk, apply new 3M tape, apply adhesion promoter, and try to stick it back on at the perfect angle to try to get the most surface adhesion coverage on a curvature that doesn't quite match.Ymmv, but hoping this helps!

Buy 3M OEM-approved tape
The carbon fiber spoiler, itself, is very nice. It looks great on my Model Y. The spoiler was packaged well and arrived quickly. It's feather-weight, so I was happy to see it in the box when I opened it. The only issue I have with this purchase is the double sided tape. First, the tape was not affixed completely to the spoiler, so when removing it from the box it became twisted and tangled. Next, I noticed that the tape didn't stick very well to the spoiler so I figured it wouldn't stick very well to the car either, but it did make it easier to peel off. Then, I purchased (from Amazon) a roll of 1/4 "OEM approved" 3M-brand (specifically made for car body moldings) for $30.00 (20 yards) and used that instead. I strongly recommend using the 3M tape for any adhered moldings - Night and day difference in adhesion strength compared to what was provided. Once installed, witht the 3M tape, the spoiler looks better than the OEM fin that was damaged by my garage door (doh!), in my opinion.

Great value for real carbon fiber
I heard about this brand from one of the YouTube review so I decided to try it.The product weight is very light since it’s real carbon fiber. I did not noticed any issue other than the product can use a better adhesive. Here are some advice that I learned which should help others install it properly. However I recommend watching some installation YouTube videos first.1) clean the spoiler section on the car with rubbing alcohol.2) pre position the spoiler on the car and make sure both left and right end does not have any gap. Don’t worry about it being center. This is to avoid the edge from lifting apart down the road.3) with the spoiler on the car, use blue painter tape to mark the spoiler position.4) put a tape on the spoiler and body in the center, left, and right for guidance and draw a line on the tape.5) add 3M adhesive promoter on the spoiler section of the car and wait until dry (1-2 min)6) remove the tape from the spoiler7) careful and slowly position the spoiler on the car. Don’t put any pressure until you are happy with the position8) use a heat gun and warm the spoiler adhesive while on the car9) put pressure on the spoiler For about 1 min after you are satisfied with the position.10) use the blue painter tape to hold the spoiler in place for about 48-72 hours. That’s about it. Enjoy! Just remember, make sure the left and right edge does not have any gap without any pressure, otherwise, the edge will start peeling apart (common issue with Tesla spoiler). I heard some owners use strong sealant as a solution.

Decent replica of Tesla spoiler
Carbon fiber spoiler appearance is good; I didn’t see any visible manufacturing defects or damage upon delivery. The spoiler was well protected during shipment. The spoiler isn’t a spot on fitment as both ends did of the spoiler does not curve to the shape of the trunk, so the ends or tips of the spoiler naturally pop away from the trunk; the adhesive isn’t strong enough to hold it against the trunk lid. Though the cost of the spoiler is a quarter of Teslas spoiler, I would have hoped for better fitment still. I think later down the road the spoiler might delaminate overtime, and I will have to remove the spoiler and reapply new adhesive.

Tape is weak and not perfect fit
Material is decent quality although not perfect as I can vaguely see some thumb prints underneath the glossy finish. The two ends do present a small gap that as some of the reviewers had suggested padding some gasket underneath. The carbon fiber is hard and strong, it will yield with force but no double sided tape would be strong enough to hold it down. I decided to spend $15 for real 3M tapes with black color, as the so called 3M tapes included is light color and bleed out after installation which looks pretty ugly & messy.
