These are essentially small finger cots, that are made of a densely woven material called HPPE.They fit easily on most fingers and stretch to fit snugly and they feel pretty comfortable when wearing and do not constrict blood flow.They are breathable too, so you don’t get sweaty, hot fingers.They are pretty light and don't feel cumbersome if you want to carry some with you.The correct technique amounts for a lot when using tools, but if you are about to do some tough jobs, where you know there is a risk of slipping or injury, then it can’t hurt to put a few of these on as well.This could be gardening tasks, kitchen prep, modelling or crafting, minor repairs and various other tasks.These are worth considering if you regularly do tasks where you may slip and injure yourself and are inexpensive enough to try out.

This set of cut-resistant finger cots (finger protectors), are designed for use when working with knives - i.e. crafts, woodworking, or cooking. However, the finger cots are not very grippy - either on your fingers or on whatever you are trying to hold. They also lack any sort of rating so that you can effectively guage their level of cut-resistance. They stretch quite well but I've seen much better finger protectors on the market.

I do a lot of modelling, mostly Star Wars, Dioramas etc. I often use scalpel type cutting knives for the very fine details. My hands, due to severe Arthritis, are a bit bent and buggered and it's often hard to grip. So I bought these to save my fingers from getting sliced. LoL I use them on my thumb and forefinger, as it's easier to cut toward me. I must say, these are superb. I've tried to cut through them with the sharpest of blades.......Not a thing, no cuts at all, ever. For the small amount I paid it has given me the confidence to model away and not bleed all over the project or carpet.......Which my Wife is obviously very pleased about lol :-)Well worth the little price I paid.

Any wood carver knows the dangers of a blade slipping, or suddenly releasing and causing injuries. These finger cots prevent those injuries and prevent the need for those trips to the A&E, or chemist when things go sideways. Not everything looks good stained red! Highly recommended

Got them to protect index finger when playing guitar they’re a bit too bulky for that but they helped
