It's provided plenty of room for the tree to grow exponentially Monet is very happy in their new pot and is thriving. I love that this comes in a pack of two, so I was also able to repot my Christmas cactus (Merey) at the same time. The moisture retention seems to be good, as I have not had to adjust the watering schedule. As far as ease of use is concerned, it's a planter. There was nothing I needed to put together or do anything special to in order to use it. I would buy these again And yes, I am one of those people that names their house plants! I am by no means, an expert plant person, but these pots have allowed my plans to continue growing and add a lovely touch to my living space

**Q: How big are these flower pots?**
A: Hi,this planters pot have two sizes ,8”x 8”x7.5”and 6.5”x 6.5”x6.1”.

**Q: How deep are they and can you get 8w×12d potts ?**
A: The flower pots appear to be 7 1/2 inches deep. My pots are filled with flowers but I took a ruler and measured from the outside top to bottom.

**Q: how do you snap off the drainage part?**
A: It twists off. When you look inside you can see the slots and pegs. Twist pot to the left/bottom to the right until the pegs line up with the wide spot in the slots. Then you can pop the bottom off. It's a little awkward to grip and it might help to use a rubber jar grip or two.

**Q: Would these be good for chives or dill?**
A: I would try dill, it’s fairly easy to grow.
