Has all the right, hard to find, features for teaching and learning in one package at a reasonable price
This is a great little amp with all the hard to find features we were looking for, 2 inputs so both guitars can be played together, an MP input so one or both guitars can play along in real time. It's a very good learning, teaching amp and has enough adjustments that separately control each instrument for a wide array of sound. It does not have built in distortion so I only gave it 4 stars. If you want distortion you'll have to get a separate fuzz box. With 2 headphone jacks the players can be in their own world without disrupting the whole house. It's plenty loud and the price point was reasonable.

Don't waste your money. You can easily do better, and it would be hard to do worse!
I have had this amplifier for about a month now, and can't recommend it. I bought it because I got what I thought was a good price on it and liked the features, but sadly, it was a total waste of my money. It sounds barely adequate with a Les Paul, but thin and cheap with my Lace Sensor equipped Strat. You can add pedals, but they don't help much.I also don't consider it multi-purpose. It is useless for bass guitar unless you want to use it as a back rest while you play, because at more than a low speaking volume, it can't manage bass. Won't even keep up with my lowest power 1/2 watt guitar amp through a 10" speaker. The real bummer, is that it is wretched with headphones. I have tried multiple headphones, in both jacks to make sure it wasn't just a bad jack, and the hum is always so bad that you're better off just playing your electric guitar unplugged. The hum is lowest with the gain at about 1/5 and the headphone volume at about 1/3, but it's still not acceptable. It also doesn't change with the guitar volume, touching the strings, or even unplugging the guitar, so I know it is just part of the amplifier. In fact, if you put the headphone volume down to 0, it goes up, so maybe they just did a horrid job with ground loops. There are a ton of great amplifiers available for less than this one ($199 delivered as I write this), so I would highly recommend avoiding this one model. I had thought a little transistor amp would be safe, but after this purchase, I'll never buy an amp without hearing it again.

Mine is Fine and Dandy
I found this amp to be very useful for bass guitar keyboards and drums as well as acoustic also I use it in a large room and it did fine. leading me to beleive a previous reviewer has a bad amp. My uses range from performace to home studio aplications and get real silent sound very happy with mine.
