Ordered this to start keeping a grimoire after talking to a friend. I didn't want anything too small or big so having the option of different sizes was great. The cover is a bit more vibrant that the photo shows. The pages look like that are well bound and love the old look style. I haven't tried to write on the pages yet but will update review once I have. It arrived quickly and well packaged, just a shame it was delivered to the wrong house and I had to go looking for it in the dark from the photo left by the delivery driver.

I bought the smallest one for myself but it’s so stunning that I now need to buy another for my daughter. The paper feels like cotton paper. I have used this kind of paper before. Ballpoint pen is best on this kind of paper. I feel fountain pen takes too much ink on this paper. Very beautiful and very well made. Once filled I will be back for another.

This Journal is so beautifully made. I brought my first one only a few days ago and just purchased another one today. The pages are quite thick , I use an ink pen and it doesn't go through to the other pages . I love the colour the design. It would make a beautiful gift or even a treat to yourself! I love these Journals and will definitely be back for more. Go on treat yourself you will not be disappointed :)

Item looks great, but it is delicate. Not suitable for clumsy or heavy handed people. To avoid disappointment the actual item is not as neat as the photo shows. It has a handmade quality (which I like) but others may be surprised.

Love the design and the ‘old’ look of the pages, would have like a bigger version, it was smaller than I expected.

I was very exited waiting for it to get here and I am not disappointed at all, it is very beautiful, it is not cheap I mean it’s expensive, but it is a hand made book and the craft and the detail is what you are paying for. So I am very glad that I don’t feel I wasted my money. Thank you

This is just cool. At first it looks like only a teenager would be interested in this, but I'm a middled aged man and I'm using it to write something special for someone as a gift. The cover feels like leather and the pages look and feel like old parchment. It has one hundred blank pages, but they are thick. The clasp looks like old bronze and the entire book, while being a facsimile, is of high quality. This should last a long time. The design on the front is a tree in a female form, meant to associate the book with the goddess or Earth Centered mystical or magical forces. While it doesn't appear to be real religious symbols, it is titled a " Blank Spell Book of Shadows" so I recommend considering the religious considerations of anyone gifted this. Also, the feminine design of the tree may be a little mature for younger people . I can't wait to transcribe my writings in this. It will increase the impact of my words.
