Princeton MCAT Review
My son wanted these books to study for the MCAT. He states they are easy to navigate, provides plenty of information and plenty of practice questions. I'm hoping it also helps him in Organic Chemistry this next semester. Worth the money if he does well on the MCAT the first go round. I will know come this next Spring and update my review!!

My lifesaver for mcat
I am a pre-med and these books are very helpful. It's good to review the contents that I have forgotten and it has practice problems which is very helpful. They also write tips on how to approach a problem and how to solve it during the exam! not to mention this is a set of all the subjects that are in the mcat so this is perfect!

Extensive coverage of content
I bought this box set after I got the Kaplan set because I had flipped through the Princeton Review's Physics book elsewhere, and found that it explained basic content to beginners in more detail than most other books. The heavy content may not be suitable for everyone, especially those who already have some sort of degree in the sciences, but it was most helpful for me. Of all the books in the set, I found the Biochemistry one the best. It was not thick, but it explained the concepts clearly. I was struggling with redox reactions and other general chemistry topics until I read the short chapter reviewing basic chemistry in the Biochemistry book. If I had a gripe with the books, it is that the font is so small, especially the footnoted answers, which are essential for explaining the concepts.

Not 4th edition
The books were in good condition but some of them were the 3rd edition. The item details mention 4th edition books. Of the seven books, 2 are 3rd edition, one is 2nd edition and the rest are 4th. Please don't misguide buyers.

Some books poorly written; assumes too much background
The physics/math book was great, but the biology book is incomprehensible. I'm internet-searching at least 5 terms per page because they have a habit of using terms without explaining them. The terms that they do explain are done in an unnecessarily complex manner (with all the organic/bio-chemistry concepts) I recommend them to rewrite it so there's a clearer introduction to each concept at the beginning rather than jumping straight in. This doesn't even feel like it's written in English. It's just facts every sentence without any intuitive justification, which contrasts the casual, more conversational tone in most other Princeton books Update 24.02: General chemistry was great, but the organic chemistry textbook is a nightmare to understand. The author is either trolling or under the impression that the audience has extensive background in the subject. Very difficult to comprehend a concept when you lack visualization Update 24.04: Biochemistry felt redundant as there is a lot of overlap with the final chapters of organic chemistry. Psychology book is very easy to follow along
