Read before you buy
Lego is charging crazy prices recently. Looking at this set for 80 dollars it seems like it would be low quality, missing pieces and a horrible building experience. I think this set is worth every penny the lighting is amazing and the piece quality is almost better then Lego. The only thing that should be said is the instruction booklet is very dark and reading it may be a little difficult if not enough light. Also the lighting is very delicate but very nice.

SOOO darn cute!!
**Handle light assembly with care as the wires are very thin & delicate.** The thinness will allow you to hide the wires under the bricks so you don’t have wires hanging all about. All lights work, the cabin glows beautifully. **I did come across a few missing pieces...about 4 in total.** Luckily they were in places which were not easily seen & I was able to fill in with the extra pieces that are given. Overlooked this hiccup & still rated this with 5 stars. You have two choices on how you want to store the battery pack: down inside the basement or outside of the cabin. I chose to keep it outside for easy access, otherwise you have to lift the entire cabin off it’s foundation. The roof is not attached to the cabin for easy removing. To be able to view the loft area you will need to first: remove the 2 dormers, then the roof. Both dormers light up! Planning on displaying under a dust free case. (Who invented dust anyway?! 🤪) Building took me approx 5 days on and off. I enjoyed this build immensely, the detail is off the charts!! Next up is a camper van to go with it!! Good luck🤞🏻

This is really super cool - Watch the video
The media could not be loaded. Overall: Super happy with the build. With minor improvements, it would be perfect. The Good: Super cool. For the most part, the pieces fit together perfectly. The build is so detailed, a little bath, bed, kitchen, table with chairs...and the coolest part is the stove that lights up. For the number of pieces, there are, it is extremely economical. The box is very well made and constructed. Lego could learn a few things from them. The Bad: I have found the directions very hard to see. The dark values of the printing just run all together, which in turn makes it hard to follow sometimes. This is evident in the other Fun WHole set I have..dark there as well. There were some missing pieces, but I had extra from other sets that didn't stop me from finishing. The Roof was near impossible to put together with the body of the building. The contacts for the lights did not always connect due to the pieces just not fitting together properly.Summary: I DO recommend this set, but just be aware that the top is difficult to deal with. Some people who have left reviews have resorted to gluing... I do not recommend that. Just know it is possible for it to come together nicely without glue.

Love this!!
Great attention to detail. Only hate that I can't completely enjoy the details inside once it is complete. There were several missing pieces and warped ones, too. But overall absolutely LOVE!

Frustrating!
I have to say this has been the most frustrating non-LEGO build I have done to date (and I have done many)! The pieces are extremely difficult to get together. The fit with the bricks is nearly so tight that you cannot get them apart in the unfortunate event of putting them on incorrectly. The Brick separator provided doesn't actually work unless you have more than four studs on the Brick that you can have a little leverage with. The light kit had me walking away from this build on multiple occasions. It starts with the first pair of lights to install.... the lit pieces don't actually fit on the piece they are meant to attach to. I ended up having to glue them down. When you go through the instructions it wants you to test lights as you go.... and the connectors are so tiny and fiddly that they are very difficult to insert and remove. I ended up accidently pulling the wiring out of the USB connection because the connector got stuck in the strip when testing the lights half way through the build. For the price of this build I would have much rather purchased an actual LEGO brand set or even a General Jim's set. Buyer beware for sure!

So much promise so much disappointment
I had my reservations buying a lego clone, but the cabin was exactly what I was looking for so I gave it a go.Pros:* First off the set looks really really nice ... mostly.* The lights are a great touch.* The pieces are well made and the quality is up there with lego.* Directions are clear and easy to understand.Cons:* My #1 issue is that they shipped the set with the wrong pieces. There is a particular piece type that is used throughout the house that is suppose to have a solid side, but instead has a large square opening instead. This normally wouldn't be a big deal, but it's used to make up the walls! Instead of a nice smooth surface it just looks half assembled (as you can see on the edges of the pictures). And it's not just one or two pieces. Every piece of that type is missing a back!* Some of builds, like the book case, were not thought out. They just fall apart as soon as you touch them.I can't say that I would recommend this set until they fix the issue with the incorrect pieces. If the piece was squared away I would give it a solid 5 stars. Instead I can only say that it's mostly good, but with a really annoying flaw.

Amazing Set
I read a lot of reviews complaining it was too difficult to build, or the pieces don't fit together, the instructions were hard to follow.I have done a ton of lego sets and was unsure about buying an off brand. But lego is getting crazy with their prices. This set was a perfect alternative to the lego brand. I find the instructions easier to follow than "lego", the quality of the bricks was good and everything was packaged so neatly.I had some difficulty with the stickers and the lighting, but I am not use to either of them. It tooks some getting use to, but once you are familiar with it, it is easy.

A great quality item.
Well organized parts in numbered bags for each section. Very detailed build instructions with colour drawings. Be patient, the lights and wiring have very tiny plugs, I had to use a magnifying glass to connect them. The build took about 10 hours, done over five days. Looks awesome. Lots of fun for two people.

Fun build
Was fun to build and love the detail. We were missing a few pieces though.

Look Out LEGO
High quality parts, fun to assemble and LED lights what more is there to say other than the cabin looks cozy. Nice getaway Christmas theme. This company if it develops a niche could give LEGO some needed competition as those prices continue to change. This piece is worth the money and will not disappoint.

Beautiful Set, Poor Design and Frustrating Build Experience
Alright, let's get the pros out of the way quickly so we can get to the issues that need to be ironed out.1. Beautiful set. It looks amazing fully built even without the light feature.2. Cheap. Very good value for money, a LEGO brand set like this would easily go over 200$ and that wouldn't include the led lights.3. The lights. In a set this cheap to come with them is kinda mindblowing. Now for the meat of the review.1. Poor quality bricks. Not the material per se as they are sturdy, but the quality control for the brick dimensions is basically non existent. They simply do not fit well together at all and have a way too tight fit which means the pieces get pushed out when you place other pieces, which in turn means sections of the build tend to get loose or fall apart. All of which results in a frustrating building experience. This should be the no.1 priority for improving future products.2. Amateurish building design. While most of the build is of sound design, some segments of the set would never get past QA at LEGO as the building steps either don't make sense in the order presented or the section of the build is extremely flimsy and very hard to put together/don't hold well together. This again sours the building experience and can lead to some very frustrating moments.3. The lighting system is poorly designed. I didn't encounter any issues with any of the wired elements, the problems start appearing when dealing with the contacts between floors and the roof windows. You basically have plates with pins underneath that are meant to make contact with another plate with copper discs on top to transfer the electric current to the next floor. Problem is, that would require the build to be very precise and straight, and as you may have guessed from issue no.1, this is not the case for this set. Making contact between the different sections requires quite a bit of pressure because the pieces simply don't fit well together and the whole build is... well, crooked, wavy, not straight. I went nearly mad trying to fix the issue so here's a tip, add a few layers of aluminum foil to the pins under the top plate until contact becomes easier.4. Ages 8+. Are you insane? I'm 37 and got seriously annoyed with this thing and I don't give up easy. I can't even imagine a child building some of the sections and even less dealing with the delicate electrical elements. For dedicated teens and over.5. The decals. While I appreciated not having stickers in the set and I understand that prints are expensive and would raise the price of the set, the decals are very easy to mess up and there are only one of each. An extra sheet for some do-overs would be appreciated as I messed up with half a dozen of them.

Great value
I'm not finished building it yet, only half way but so far I'm very impressed. The instructions booklet is massive and easy to read. So far no missing pieces and all the pieces are fitting in with each other. Love that it has working lights.
