I love, love, LOVE the color of these plates! They are beautiful, vibrant and different from sets where everything is the same. I was ready for a change and long overdue for new dishes. These are perfect! They fit well in my dishwasher, similar in weight to my previous dishes, seem sturdy. I can't wait to try them as they just arrived so I'm running them through the dishwasher first.

Good purchase

I had a unique situation. I purchased a set of Pfaltzgraff Napoli stoneware dishes several years back. I loved the vibrant colors and cheerful floral patterns, and began collecting everything I could from the pattern. However... I didn't realize how fragile the dinner plates would be. Almost immediately, they began chipping, scratching and looked awful. Most of the rest of the items were holding up, and I'd invested too much money to get rid of everything, but what to do? I thought about replacing the dinner plates with Fiesta or something similar, but balked at the price. I ran across these doing Amazon searches, and loved the colors, as well as the price point! For the cost of replacing a single Pflatzgraff dinner plate on Replacements, I could get a whole set of six! I needed something quickly for the holidays, and ordered two boxes. I think they look great with my set! The only thing I'd change is the brushed rim of brown around the edge of every plate, but that's a personal preference. The plates seem sturdy and the colors are beautiful. Not a perfect match, but complementary enough and I'm happy with the result.

Beautiful heavy plates, they're fine for a dinner plate. I've only had these since April though and one plate got a chip from being washed in the dishwasher. They were spaced far enough apart that the plates weren't touching each other or anything else. I'm disappointed that it chipped so easily.

Love these plates

After getting this companies pasta bowls I loved them so much that I decided to get this set of plates as well as their cereal bowl set and dessert plate set. However, I’m so disappointed in the durability of the plates and hoping I won’t have the same issue with the others. I’ve been keeping the styrofoam in between the pasta bowls I got because the bottoms seemed really rough and I’ve kept the cardboard in between these dinner plates in the cabinets since I got them beginning of April too. My husband hated how that looked and so I decided to pull the cardboard out yesterday and that was clearly a big mistake because one of them is already chipped. I shouldn’t have to keep cardboard between them so they are stackable. They are too easily chipped as all I did was carefully stack them after washing and drying them. This was my first new set of plates and bowls since I got married 21 years ago and only one bowl and one plate did this in all those years. Very disappointed. Hoping that they’ll replace this orange plate or I’ll not buy anything else going forward. I will add a picture of the chipped plate as well as the cardboard from shipping that I’ve kept since I got them. I’ll add a picture to show that I do indeed have their dinner plates, pasta bowls, cereal bowls and dessert plates. I really don’t want to have to add the cardboard back but it seems I have no choice so I’ve done that temporarily. I’ll alert the company about this and if it’s rectified I will update my review and stars to reflect that.
