Not a light weight knock off .. well made with lots of power

This tool is a beast! I did not realize how much torque these tools provide until I borrowed one from a friend. I thought I was doing fine with my "brand R" power tools, but the DeWalt is in another level when it comes to power. Finally, in my lifetime, some one has created a battery power impact wrench that can break loose lug nuts on car wheels. No more need for air compressors and hoses now that I have this hand held beauty.This wrench is not any heavier than my air wrenches, has excellent grips, and is compact enough to access the fasteners I need to reach. It is a bit pricey, but I am happy with the value this tool delivers.DeWalt makes another model with even greater torque for things like shock tower bolts and the like, but this unit does everything I need it for. Additionally, this wrench has different torque settings for different jobs, so it is flexible in application.

This is the perfect tool for my needs. I already had the 20v Max system for other Dewalt tools and this was a great addition. I wanted to for basic tasks like taking trailer tires on / off and car tires on / off to perform basic brake inspections and repair. Nice feature on this is a setting that will loosen a nut, then slow down to prevent spin off. The same setting will tighten the nut down without putting too much torque on it. That allows me to finish with a hand torque wrench and tighten to spec.

Love this tool. Does heavy and light stuff. How I lived without it I don't know. Takes nuts of mower blades with one hand, no counter-holding necessary. Safer.Just wish I had gotten the hog ring style. The pin style is way too much trouble and filing down the pin doesn't help. I am in the process of swapping to a hog ring anvil, 38$, though.

Nothing beats a DeWalt!

I purchased the DCF892B based on the positive review and stress testing done to it on the "Torque Test Channel", a tool review service on YouTube. I do not regret my purchase.This manly power tool zips off measly 90 ft.lbs lug nuts without effort. The true test, however, was its success loosening the violently tight Honda harmonic pully nut at ~250ft.lbs. You'll find yourself searching your home for other snugly nuts to loosen; you'll offer to your neighbors tire rotations for funzies; you'll relish tossing out your cursed air-driven impact wrench! This thing is that much fun to use.The price is awesome for so powerful a cordless impact/torque wrench.Buy this tool. Regret it not.

I bought this impact wrench for extending the leveling legs on our RV trailer. Works great and I can adjust the power when I don't need full power. I charged the battery full before we left on Dec 15th and I have not needed a recharge.
