Great product

Best pipe screens. Fit the bowl on corncob or a nice wooden pipe. Great for deep bowls to fill empty space.

I'm amazed at how nit picky some people are about this type product. You can't reasonably expect to take it out of the package and think its going to just drop in and fit perfectly every random pipe. It may take 30 seconds of pinching, squeezing or spreading to fit your particular pipe. That's just part of the process. No big deal. I use a brass or stainless steel mesh screen over the screen ball, so the ball stays relatively clean for a while. For the most part I just replace the mesh screen every few bowls. When you replace the ball, the used one will clean up like new in an overnight soak of alcohol. So they can be used several times before you may need to trash it. I found very small hemostat type pliers from harbor freight to a useful tool for positioning/removing the screen ball (Photos attached). The tips are small enough to easily grip the screen ball. I've looked at all of these screen balls on Amazon, and found these to be the best value. I'm pleased with this purchase, and would buy again.

These protect the pipe and trap tar; however i find i have to shape them with pliers to fit a Scottie pipe it is far from a smooth fit they end up a mangled lump but it is the best i can manage. far from flexible they are what you see a piece of steel wool. however i imagine the flat round screens would be even more difficult to work with . So given the choice i will use these again instead of flat screen. defiantly better than no screen and with a fresh filter makes the pipe have an excellent draw.

I was previously using the mesh thin screens. Since using these I don't have to change the screen so often. Also a great value!

Made really well for pipe smoker with no complaints.

I bought this for obvious reasons. They are REALLY big and to actually make them usable I have to open the ball and cut them into 3 meshes to use. I have had this bag for awhile now and of the 3 months I have only used 1 balls so far because the size. Works thou, just disappointed these were to reduce the extra work but instead it made more.
