I always put new packages in the freezer for day or so before opening them. **Q: Does this have any warnings about shared lines/facilities or may contain traces of peanut?** A: I have discarded container and seed is in glass jar so I cannot answer your question. And frankly, do not understand why no Oil of Sunflower Seed (OOSS) is not included. It is the Cockatiel and most other bird's favorite food. I do not plan to order this again as my birds love OOSS which I add.. **Q: Can I feed to parakeets/budgies?** A: I am not sure if this would be suitable to the smaller birds. I would compare the seed content to that that is recommended to parakeets/budgies. **Q: Can I give this food to my lovebirds?** A: I have found out certain birds need special ingredients in their daily diet to thrive. I have cockatiel birds and a canary. I have found they need different seeds and have ordered through this company the correct seeds to keep my birds healthy.
