When buying any form of CoQ10, you need to be sure that it's easily absorbed by your body; some forms are more easily absorbed than others and in my personal experience, I've found liquids like this and Q-Gel capsules to be the best. I'm sure you could even take it by the spoonful, but since it's a concentrated supplement, it's best taken with food. Do not take on an empty stomach. NOW's liquid CoQ10 formulation has some additional B Vitamins that make it a step above other liquid forms I've seen. Each teaspoon provides 100 mg CoQ10, 30iu Vitamin E (from mixed tocopherols), 10 mg D-Ribose, 5 mg NAD, and small amounts of B-3, B-6, B-12, and B-5. So far, this is the best CoQ10 I've used, and my husband and I have been taking some form of CoQ10 for at least a decade. I REALLY wish I could say the same for myself, but my husband frequently gets compliments on the fact that he looks 20 years younger than his actual age. I think the CoQ10 is part of the reason.
