There's just no alternative to the original
I've tried so many alternatives and tried to like them, but none come close to the combination of taste, ease of mixing, cost, nutrition etc. It is an intentionally bland but lightly sweet flavor on the original. This is so you don't get tired of it too easily if I remember correctly, and I believe their logic was sound. It also makes it very easy to customize and add your own things to tweak the flavor. My favorite additive is powdered peanut butter. It mixes very easily. I put it in a cup with a lid and a bit of ice and shake and boom, done. No clumps, no graininess, just a good smooth drink. It leaves me feeling full and satiated and makes it very easy to keep up with how many calories I'm consuming. I wouldn't call it a "diet shake", but the way I use it, it basically is. I almost wish they had better competitors, but no one has really matched them. I think they pioneered this kind of mix and as far as I'm concerned are still the best offering. When you can get your hands on it.

Highly Recommend
This product has saved my life and is all that I am permitted as far as food goes. It's a great mild taste, filling, packed with calories and nutrients!

Quick meal if you don't have time to cook
Taste is acceptable for a quick meal but it doesn't make me full like a solid meal.

Tastes surprisingly good
I was looking for a meal replacer shake that had some calories. I'm looking for a meal and not just swallowable vitamins. This was the highest calorie one I could find (400 calories per regular serving), so it helps keep my energy up and provides a balanced meal when I don't want to stop and eat. It's also shockingly good for only needing water (though tastes a bit better with almond milk). I don't have a blender bottle (I'm looking for low effort), but have a couple whisks, so I just spin the whisk by rubbing my hands together for 30 seconds and it's plenty mixed. Whisks take up less space in the dishwasher, so super easy meal and super easy cleanup.

Exactly what I was looking for.
I've been wanting a simple solution for meals that doesn't require me to cook (because I'm lazy and hate grocery shopping) and has all the nutrients I need (because I tend to skip the veggies). I've tried Factor75 and Freshly but I found that I got tired of the meals after a few months and ended up wasting the meals AND DoorDashing way too often. Not economically friendly for a broke student. I also have a terrible habit of not eating all day (because I don't like breakfast and don't want anything in particular) until late evening, which results in me binge eating something unhealthy for dinner. I've only had this for a few days, but it's helping break bad habits already. I'm not good at having meals at proper times, but now I just have Soylent whenever I wake up (unless I order coffee, then I'll have it afterwards). Honestly, it tastes like Bisquick pancake mix but thinner which is definitely not yummy but it's not as bad as many artificially flavored protein powders I've tried. (Gainful has been the best flavorless protein powder.) I sleep too long to really schedule 3 meals a day, so I typically will only have this once and then have dinner. I honestly might try having Soylent twice a day and a light lunch/snack in between to avoid large meals altogether. I would only go to such an extreme because I am barely active at all since the pandemic started and I'm at my heaviest weight ever (I've always been overweight regardless but otherwise healthy). I'll update with any weight/loss, physiology changes if I notice any.

Great meal replacement
I just ordered my 3rd tub of this protein powder and I cannot say enough great things! I mix 60g with some Greek yogurt in the morning and it keeps me so full. It is a little thicker and grainy compared to other powders but I love that! The scoop not being a serving through me off - but I just weigh it out now. The cacao is not super sweet or chocolaty and the unflavored is perfect - no bad after taste or weird flavors

It really is a nice way of consuming calories
I've only had Soylent twice, one pre-bottled that tasted like cardboard (I'm assuming an old version) and now this v1.8 powder which has ended up becoming a staple of my weekly diet. There's not much to really say other than it's got a nice mild flavor and blends well with just about anything but cacao baking powder (that was a mistake on my part). Because of the overhead cost on Amazon I happened to get a tub on sale and have been refilling it with monthly shipments from Soylent directly. It's a very friendly subscription service, add to it, subtract from it, skip a month, double up on a month, or cancel altogether. There's no hoops to jump through (this isn't a newspaper subscription) so it feels very risk free which I was afraid wouldn't be the case. My base recipe is: 8 oz - Water 4 oz - Half-and-Half 1 scoop - the-chai-latte-formerly-known-as-big-train-chai from Costco 2 scoops - Soylent It tastes great on it's own, but watermelon and blueberries add a nice flavor. I wasn't too impressed with raspberries, and apple is way too fibrous to be pleasant to drink. I haven't gotten around to getting in on blackberry or cherry action yet. At one point I went for a blackberry, blueberry, strawberry frozen mix but it was light on strawberries and the blackberries left a million seeds at the bottom.

Too Expensive. An Excellent Product. But Not Good Value Because of the Cost
Here's the deal. I am a huge fan of the Soylent concept. And one of the ways I maintain my weight and keep my weight down is by applying the philosophy of calories in calories out. And so, I have a protein meal replacement for breakfast that clocks in around 240 calories and has 39 grams of protein, 3 grams of fiber, 17 grams of carbohydrate and 3 grams of fat. Now, let's say that one wanted to maintain a weight with a consumption of about 2,400 calories per day. As Soylent points out, although one could, one shouldn't get all of one's daily requirements from just consuming Soylent. But if each serving of Soylent (24 servings per this cannister) is 200 calories and one were to use this product for two meals as a meal replacement, one could blow through a 24 servings container in no time at all, thus making it an expensive source for your daily protein. So how do I really review this product? Is it excellent? Yes. Is it neutral tasting and not unpleasant and able to be flavored with cocoa, etc. ? Yes If I could get it for a lower price would I use it regularly? Yes So the only comment I have is that it is a very very expensive way to do a meal replacement. If the 2.3 lb container is set up for 24 servings of 200 calories each that means that, for a daily 2,400 calorie diet, the container would be for two days. Hence, consider it only as, say, a replacement for your breakfast meal.

Justo lo que es
Riquรญsimo, de todos los productos, este es el que me parece que tiene mejor sabor y se mezcla bien.

Great product but discontinued shipping to Australia
Australia has no shortage of soylent clones, but I much prefer just use the original. So for the lack of access seemingly anywhere else from the web I have to give this a 3
