Osage is from the Midwest United States and is typically used outdoors for it's high density and extreme weather resistance. In the rare cases that it's used for indoor purposes (like this) it's extremely beautiful because it's a naturally bright yellow wood and can be polished to extreme smoothness. Overtime the yellow will dull to a orange-brown but the distinct grain contrasts remain as well as the smooth texture! The natural rot resistance that Osage has means it's high in antimicrobials, which means fungus and bacteria will not grow on the surface (similar to Teak).
