I bought this for an overseas trip. I take a weekly shot that needs to be refrigerated. Took it out of the fridge right before we left for the airport, put it in this cooler with the ice pack and the usb lid. I plugged it in to a charger for the airport ride, unplugged it for tsa security, then plugged it back in. The plane had a plug, so I utilized that on the plane for 6 hours. Once landed, I plugged it back into the charger. At the hotel I used a usb plug to keep it running. I left on a Friday night and on Monday morning, it was still cool. Not cold and the ice pack was defrosted, but it was definitely cool inside the container and the medicine was still cool as well. We went to Ireland in the fall, so we did not have super high temperatures to combat.Taking it through US security, they wanted it opened to verify it wasn't a water bottle. Bringing it back, they just put it in a machine to test for whatever (explosives?). it traveled well, super easy to use, withstood our travel. I highly recommend this product.

I really like this for road trips. The USB is a life changer. The size made it easy to take anywhere and sturdy. It did seem to keep it cool enough while the car was stopped for meals.

Device works pretty well. First use, kept it in a car on a warm 80 degree day for 4 hours, then at work for another 2 before eplacing it in my mini fridge. Things were still below room temp, probably around 50 - 60 degrees. And I started by just keeping the unit in the crisper fridge overnight (34 degrees). I imagine if you freeze the insert AND the carrier, it will stay colder a little longer. Insert contents do not freeze, so it WILL NOT freeze your medicine. But I can see this unit keeping up to three std vials below 70 degrees all day if not left in a car or carried around Las Vegas on a 100 degree day, all day. It works for what I need it to do. It is metal, so keep it in the shade. BTW, standard vial is a Walmart brand Novelin-N or R, or a Lily Humalog U100 size vial. As for condensation? ANYTHING cold you put in a warm spot is going to have condensation. So this product does not have an "issue" with it, it just is. I would not count on this small, slim size lasting 12 hours on a hot day, but I have not tried that. Nor I have I put it in the freezer yet to get maximum effect. I am sure that will help. I am overall happy with what I use it for and for how long it stays cool enough. However, the cheesy engraving on it can go. "This is my special life". Like I am 14 and need that? LOL. One improvement would be to make the case like an insulated drink glass such as an Iron Flask. That would DEF keep this thing cool all day.

Overnight shipping saved me on a last minute purchase! I am a type 2 diabetic and typically don’t need insulin but was put on a prednisone dose pack 3 days before a scheduled trip to Dollywood in TN. Prednisone always hikes up the glucose levels and I needed something small and compact to last for a 14 hr day in my purse. I followed the instructions exactly and I was completely in awe of how it keep my insulin pen cold the first time I needed it that day at the park. I only had to use it once, but it was in my purse for 14 hrs when I got home and it was still cool. It was 80* that day!This little thing is worth the purchase. I probably would have had to cancel my trip or figure out a bigger bulkier way to take insulin if it wasn’t for this little gem!I highly recommend it. I’m glad I have it for the next time when the need arises.

I travel for a living and take injections. The frozen insert does everything it claims, keeps my medicine at the cold through even the longest airline delays, even in this summer’s intense heat. The true test is when I got to my latest destination and the refrigerator was broken. I used the cooling top for the first time and I’m blown away. It’s been a full day, my frozen insert is still completely frozen due to the cooling top and my medication is still safe. In the pictures I’ve scratched off the frost to show how cold the cooling top stays. This is worth every penny and works better than I expected. Thank you for this wonderful product!!

Purchased these coolers in order to travel and keep my medication cold. It has been a life saver as it is allowed on my carry on for planes! The design is compact, easy to use and carry and is so convenient for travelling. The temperature control is perfect for keeping my meds at the proper temp even on hot long days. The container itself is very durable even after traveling with it and being dropped several time.Definitely worth the money to keep medication at the proper temps

I bought this for my daughter to take her vial of insulin back and forth between her dad's and my house. I kinda wish they were make a small vial cooler for 1 vial to manage temp and protecting the delicate vial. The vial does fit in here, but it's a tight fit and has gotten stuck. It will not fit with a vial protector on the vial it has to be a bare vial. Overall the cooler is ok, it works. I just wish there was a design option designed more for one single vial opposed to pens only

Does exactly what it promises. You can put 2 pens at the same time. Ends up being a tight fit but works perfectly. Great for traveling. 12 -14 hours, no problem.

Perfect to keep insulin cool whilst out and about got the larger size to for travel abroad ( tsa safe )

I love this Single Pen Insulin Cooler. It works great, fits in my purse and is perfect when out in the heat to keep the insulin at the perfect temperature. I recently was away and it was in the 80’s, 90’s every day and it is so handy. I was so glad I had it. thank you.
