I Really Like this Item
I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: I have pre-hyper tension, which means I take a small dose of blood pressure meds daily, but that is enough to keep my readings as normal. But if I do not also watch what I eat, I will have High Blood Pressure in full. SALT seems to be the main thing that my Doctor warns me of, because I do not eat much of the other obvious things like FATS and GREASE and SUGARS. So I decided to give this a try. Not soon enough to see a difference on my readings, and I don't usually add much salt anyway because most foods are already salty enough. But I can make these comments. I find it taste pretty much like regular salt. BUT it is very fine making it easy to OVER Salt with NO SALT. It is also a tiny bit more powerful or "salty" than regular salt, so my warning is TAKE IT EASY until you figure out how much works for your taste buds. It does not require as many shakes of the shaker to get the desired results. Too much and it will taste salty. I Recommend. Good Luck.

Good alternative
We decided to try to cut salt from our diets as best we could for health reasons and the the nusalt seems to help helps. It’s not the same flavor as table salt but it’s pretty close.

Best salt substitute for most foods
This is the only salt sub I can stand. The plus side is it gets you buy and helps. However, it doesn’t exactly taste like common table salt so there is an adjustment to the taste buds. It tends to work best when used post cooking. Using it in recipes that call for salt or while food is being baked/cooked/ fried doesn’t work as well. One more negative is they have recently changed the container, it’s smaller, and the lid leaks. So, I just leave the lid in the closed position and the salt sub comes out anyways.

No salt for you!
Bought this salt substitute for my mom. She likes the taste and now can enjoy foods seasoned the way she likes without fear of to much sodium in her diet.

Excellent Salt Substitute
"My blood pressure is whaaaat?" That was me in my doctor's office after my dentist suggested I see him because my blood pressure seemed a little high. It was more than a little high, and I'd never seen my doctor's staff move so quickly before. Usually when the nurse said "the doctor will be right in" it meant a 5-10 minute wait. This time he was knocking on the exam room door a few seconds after the nurse left the room to let me know that they'd be doing an EKG to make sure I wasn't having a heart attack.I wasn't having one, but my BP was out of control. Doc said to cut down on salt, no more than 1,500 mg per day. I turned it into a game. Set up a spreadsheet and tracked every mg for several months. Only approached 1,500 twice; every other day was well below 1,000. A big part of that is NoSalt. I've tried the others, and they were either clumpy or overpriced for what you got. I use this all the time.

Strong and bitter taste
Was surprised at the strong and bitter flavor of this product. Will have to dilute it with sea salt to get something palatable.

Nice product
This is great and tastes like salt. It dies come out too fast so be careful or use in another container.

Tastes like salt
Had to buy 6 minimum so taking a chance first time but I will end up using them all as a partial substitute for regular salt. Tastes good but ingredient list says one component is mineral oil which doesn’t sound so good. Also contains a couple of unrecognisable acids so not just pure potassium salts. Five stars for the product but one taken off because had to buy 6 and not sure about some of the ingredients.

I was really nervous about this after reading reviews. I never write reviews
But I thought I needed to. I didn’t have high hopes for this stuff. But WARNING you only need the tiniest bit of this no salt substitute compared to how much you would use if this was salt otherwise the taste is way to overpowering and strong. But if you put the smallest amount it tastes almost identical taste salt! I have heart failure so I’m on a sodium restriction & it was really limiting what I could eat & make, not anymore thanks to this stuff. I’m so excited that I tried & found this brand :)

Not for me
I bought this product as I had heard that it tastes exactly like salt. Unfortunately , this is not true for me. It has very strange " taste" and it remains my mouth after eating. Or to be accurate, it cause strange feeling in mouth. I can't tolerate with this feeling and will toss away the product sadly. It may work with others but not for me.

Great stuff
I’ve cut out salt from my diet - this stuff is awesome on food (gives it a bit of a salty zing), but it tastes like crap if you just taste it by itself (as in, put some in your hand and lick it). I dunno how something can taste so crappy on its own, but taste so good when put on food. I guess real salt on its own tastes kinda crappy too though.
