## Overview

Sherwood Pet Health Rabbit Emergency Kit combines a scientifically formulated Appetite Restore powder with premium timothy hay-based recovery food, designed to quickly combat digestive stasis in rabbits. Grain and soy free, this kit includes precise dosing tools and stay-fresh packets to ensure optimal nutrition and gut health for rabbits of all life stages, making it an essential emergency solution for proactive pet parents.

## Description

This emergency kit for rabbits includes the Appetite Restore nutritional powder (3 stay-fresh packets that are 10 grams each, and a measuring scoop) and the timothy hay based Recovery Food (15 stay-fresh packets that are 10 grams each) along with a feeding syringe. Stasis, or the unwillingness to eat, is a very common problem for pet rabbits. It is usually caused when their digestive tract is upset with the rapid growth of bad bacteria caused by feeding too many treats, salads, grain, soy, fruits or veggies. The bad bacteria cause gas and bloating and your rabbit will feel sick. The bad bacteria also don't allow the good bacteria to thrive. Normally these good bacteria are producing B-vitamins and other nutrients the rabbit needs to maintain a healthy appetite and have good energy. Feed the Appetite Restore to provide the nutrients needed to stimulate the appetite and help them feel better. Then feed the hay-based recovery food (it tastes great!) to clean out the digestive tract and restore healthy bacterial populations. Soon your rabbit will begin eating a normal healthy diet of hay and pellets on their own.

Review: Price is slightly High - This is good but I feel the price is a bit to expensive I wish they could reduce the price cause we don't have an emergency everytime and due to which I feel like the medicines inside become solid so idk if that's normal but ya. It does help whenever there is an emergency
Review: 10/10 - مره كويس لازم يكون متوفر عند اي مربي ارانب 💚🐇

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Hi,
I really want to buy this product, so can you tell me when it will be in stock?**
A: It’s in stock now on Amazon and the Sherwood website!

**Q: Does this expire before opening?**
A: Mine didn't - and honeslty, expiration dates on this would be very generous, as each individual packet of critical care food for syringe feeding is sealed. You open for one day's usage. If you use rubberband to wrap up any extra for next day, that will stay for sure. The powder to mix for rehydrating would stay once open using a rubberband too. I've never had an issue, and this worked really well for my bunny when we traveled on a plane for the first time and needed something to use for 2 weeks while away. Rather than bring a whole big bag of critical care food, I had this kit with individual packets. :) Hope this helps.

**Q: If my rabbit goes through a gas bout, can I feed her this instead of critical care to keep her digestion moving?**
A: I use both critical care and Sherwood recovery when my rabbit goes into stasis. Sometimes they like one more than the other.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Saved my bunny

This stuff is amazing! I did not need to actually syringe feed him this go around because I started him on it when I noticed the problem early and he likes it. I actually used the appetite stimulant in it for a few times. I didn’t actually know that making sure his teeth stayed short involved his back teeth too, not just his incisors!. I’d look at his nice short front ones and think all was well. Not so! His chest and neck kept looking wet and I thought it was the water bowl but he was actually drooling from discomfort. The vet gave him Metacam for pain and I had to feed him this a few times and day and only feed hay otherwise, preferably 1st cut. She had mentioned a specialist and surgery but I can’t afford that. This is working! He is eating hay and grinding his teeth pain free. The vet said pellets (more than a tiny amount like 2TBS) was bad for him. Also I’ve always given him rabbit safe vegetables and fruits in small amounts but those things make them not hungry enough for hay and that’s 80% of his diet. I’m not to fall for it when he runs up to me when I open the fridge. Instead I make sure he has high quality 1st cut hay at all time such as Small Pets Select, Oxbow or even Eaton brand and a small amount of pellets and hopefully he will grind down his teeth. She also said bananas can ferment in his stomach so outside of a little nibble 1-2 time per mo they are off limits. I don’t know why God made rabbits to have to eat hay but we have to convince them other than we brought them indoors and changed up their whole world. His sister has never experienced any issues like this. I’m so grateful for this emergency kit!!
