I needed something to put on the edge of metal roofing material. The metal roofing stuck over the edge of our sauna and I didn't want anyone to get scraped or cut on it. I found this material on Amazon and thought I would give it a try. It worked beautifully! It is thin enough and pliable enough to get it up and own on the grooves. Cut easily with a scissor, fit perfectly on the edge of the metal without looking ridiculous, you hardly notice it is there. Great value for what I used it for.

Great item

I put this on the edges of 29 gauge 3 rib roof metal that was low enough to touch to make it safer. The seal strip is made to grip material thicker than 29 gauge so it did not grip well. I had to run a bead of clear silicone caulk on both sides of the edge first, smooth it out, and let it mostly cure, then press the trim onto the edge. When that was cured I ran another bead between the metal and the trim and smoothed it out. That glued it on pretty well. On the ends going over the ribs it was a challenge to keep the rubber on the metal where it made sharp bends around the ribs. That was solved with a bunch of spring clothes pins to hold the rubber in place while the silicone cured. Then covered the whole thing with spray cans of rubber seal material. Edges are safe and waterproof.

Used to put a seal around a 12" diameter piece of glass. Works great. Is very pliable and easy to install.

The money value is great and the quality is good also. The soft rubber is nice to the touch and look. The functionality is my only issue. The rubber edge trim does not stay on my car or my sister's car. Unfortunately, the strips seem to fall off as you open and close the car doors.

Used this on an antique truck to keep the bumper from rubbing the body. Did what I wanted it to.

A piece of junk. Would have returned it if not cut. Only 1/4" wide and tight space so there is not even a room for glue. You cannot use any other glue but liquid super glue - otherwise, it won't stay on. For, $14 with tax, this is robbery. It may be worth about $1.

Brought this is for my steel raised garden beds. Easy to install and stays in place.
