Better than JBL 1300hi
I have both JBL 1300hi and Pioneer 1202.. and believe me Pioneer surprise me while it take low frequency.. JBL normal quality subwoofer but Pioneer is premium sound quality

Punchy and will not disappoint
Sounds very heavy and you will feel it. I'm using it with Sony amp and it gives plenty bass at very low volumes, so perfect for lofi chill music. The price could have been lower as difference between this and Sony 500w one is very minimum.
