Top Quality Salt
This is a Chef’s salt at a great price. In my opinion, Maldon is the best. This is flakes - so not for grinders, but for seasoning during cooking. The container is sturdy, so it keeps the salt in great condition. I tend to transfer some to a salt pig and then level the container in the cupboard. But it does look nice enough to be next to your hob. Great product.

Fantastic salt
The texture is the real magic. Those delicate, crunchy little pyramids dissolve on the tongue like salty snowflakes, giving you that satisfying crackle before they melt into pure, clean, briny bliss. No metallic aftertaste, no bitterness—just bright, mineral-rich sea salt that somehow makes everything taste more like itself. Tomatoes become tomato-ier, and a simple boiled egg with a pinch of Maldon feels like a Michelin-starred appetiser. Yes, it’s more expensive than the cardboard cylinder stuff but a little goes a long way. Use it to finish dishes and get a big bag of cheaper sea salt for general cooking I.e pasta water, dry brining of meat. Recommend.

A wonderful burst of saltiness for Margaritas
I don’t use a massive amount of salt in cooking but do use it in some cocktails so I bought a box of Maldon Sea Salt rather than a larger tub. This salt has an excellent flaked texture and is great for creating a salt rim on a glass for cocktails such as a Margarita or Paloma. Using salt in this way means that you actually taste the salt on the glass before it mixes with the drink. You then get that great contrast of tequila, citrus and salt which is what these drinks are all about. Maldon Sea Salt seems very suited to being used in this way with its wonderful salty taste being a key component of the drink. This salt is also easily crumbled between thumb and finger to make a slightly finer powder. Half a pinch added to shaken drinks can also enhance the flavour of cocktails. Maldon Sea Salt keeps well in a plastic container and is the perfect salt for my drinks. Very good indeed!

Good item poor packaging
It’s salt - good amount and had several times = 5* but 4* this time as it wasn’t well packed and lid was cracked. A couple of tbsp in the box and one on my floor on opening box. Not enough to send back but only way to give packaging feedback. Don’t be dissuaded from buying - good VFM as long as not too much spilled into box en route….;-)

Great value for money, cheaper than buying at the supermarket, and tastes so much better than table salt

Lively salt. Not too strong.
Lovely salt. Use it all the time. I do use it in my salt grinder even though it is quite fine. It isn't too strong.
