Bought my first pair of Rens when they had a kickstarter campaign going. I was so happy with them that I purchased a second pair. So worth the price

As a high school senior.. your kicks matter! Not my rule but, one I respect for my son!! Finding RENS brand shoes was just a happy happenstance.. and one I’m proud to have come across!! Wish there was more U.S. marketing to get the word out- As, these have a story and can back it up!Pro’s:•Saving the planet- huge bonus and should be given all the kudos in the world.. especially from the next generation.•Unisex- In every sense of the word.. nothing differentiates besides x1-2 color choices.•Waterproof and vented..•Slips on for ease and convenience yet, holds the foot nice and snug in place.•Lightweight! See photo above- you won’t even know they’re on your feet- Hello 4oz!•Chunky base/heel allows on and off road comfort. Boulder away baby…!!•On trend with latest fashion and yet, has unique style in their own right.Quirks:•Not the biggest fan of the # hashtag sign on top of shoe.. I don’t get it? Being done in the same color with white on white, it’s not as prominent as expected.. Maybe knowing the story behind it- this could be more understood?!•Overly soft cuff around the ankle can fold under when putting on.•A bit pricey- shoe is inline with top brand names.. these are quality shoes but, when paying higher $$ you’re also buying the famous branding this one lacks right now..•Come in whole sizes only- we measure 11.5m but, the 12m fit perfectly.Overall, would love to see these get recognition they deserve.. They can run with the “big boys” made in the same style.. Only, these serve a greater purpose and are 100% unique! Worth the holistic investment- Now, let’s get the word out peep!! These are very stylish (as far as my unstylish self can tell) shoes and I'm very impressed with them. I got the blue ones with the gold logo and they are bright without being annoying and stand out without looking overly flashy. They're also extremely comfortable - easy to slip on and off, sized as expected (a size 12 is a size 12) and the sole offers a good deal of padding. No complaints and definitely recommend for anyone looking for comfort and style. All of the eco stuff is an added bonus. I got these through Vine but could see myself buying more styles in the future.
