It cleans well, and very cost effective for daily cleaning if the lowest price is your primary criteria. It took care of some minor spots without any issue. However, it has a very dry cleaner like chemical smell and not to my liking (as others have felt the same too). While the smell is not overwhelming and will go away after drying, it is not something that can be described pleasant in anyway for the next few hours. For this reason - i am taking one star off. This is not for me as I would stick with Bissel and Hoover solutions in future as they have very good fragrance, and only a few dollars more.

This is, hands down, the best affordable way to shampoo your carpets. For years, I bought the expensive carpet shampoo from the store and always dreaded having to replace it because of the cost. This product lasted much longer than I expected and cleaned even better than the name-brand options I’ve used in the past. My carpets came out looking and smelling fresh, and I saved a significant amount of money in the process. I’ll definitely be buying this again.

Love this carpet cleaner. Not only is ecomical, but it does a great job cleaning up the dirt out of carpets whether it's a small area or in a carpet cleaner, cleaning a whole room. A little bit goes a long way, and it doesn't leave a sticky residue, like some others I've tried, and rinses well. After having seven dogs some time ago, I've gone through some products (and carpet cleaners!), and ZEP is my favorite, and my go-to. It's a great product, especially for the price.
