The occupational therapist recommended this for my father’s hand after he had a stroke and could not tolerate the heavy, bulky, stiff hand brace that the rehab center provided. He tolerated this one and it helped keep his hand open more.

Has been very useful to keep hand supported and dry.

Mom’s having trouble with a finger that had stopped working. She yells when you touch it. That finger was digging into palm. Nurses said it could create an open wound. This helps perfectly. Didn’t want the one with finger holes.

This does the job! My mother's hands are clamping. She has Parkinson's and her hands are tightening up. One side is contracted beyond stretching out again. The other is on it's way to doing the same. At night we put on this finger separator and it is doing the job! She is ready to get rid of it by morning but her hand is staying strong all day. It is worth it. I like that the pinkie is able to have the Velcro tightened up.

I purchased a left and right hand protectors for my mother. She has contracures in both hands from Alzhiemers. She has been wearing the splints during the day and while sleeping. We remove them at bathing time and at meals. This product has increased the space between the fingers and palm. She has improved function to hold a spoon or fork to eat. I would recommend the Roylan hand protectors to help manage this condition.I hand wash them about every 2 days. I purchased 3 for each hand. I also marked Left and Right with a waterproof pen.

Bought for my mother who is in her end stages of MS. Both hands are shut tight and it hurts her to open them in the slightest. She gets frequent sores in between fingers and in her palms. Bought these in hopes it'd help. They're just too bulky for her to be able to fit into her hand at this point. These would be awesome to purchase for someone is is just starting to have their hands clamp up and not at the point my mom is.

Simply made, fuzzy - comfy, soft shearling- like inside . Easy to apply. Like putting on gloves. Velcro wrist . I don't have to worry about someone putting it on wrong in the nursing home, like I noticed with the longer hand/wrist/forearm splints . Ok for a short fingered small woman, just enough to cover the fingertips. One hand is more severely contracted than the other. The sole of it flexes a little , yet molded enough to keep the hand from bending it completely, at least for the first month of wearing it 1/2 day, most days. So, I got these for both hands . The 5th finger separator has velcro on the bottom side, so its a little adjustable. The rest are secured down. She likes them. No more clenched fingers.

For the price it was very cheaply made and very flimsy
