A Powerful tool
This is the best price point I found for a wide range Power/ SWR meter. The instrument is terrific throughout the HF to VHF frequency ranges. No need to switch to a different meter for the VHF range. I've used this device with my low powered (10 Watt) rig as well as my 1 KW powerhouse for HF. The scale ranges are nicely balanced so there is not crunching of ranges at the end of the scales. It makes my antenna SWR measurements a breeze. An internal lamp illuminates the meter for easy reading.

Daiwa CN‑501H HF/VHF Quality and Accuracy
Was seeking an SWR/Watt Meter with a very broad frequency spectrum. The Daiwa CN‑501H HF/VHF meter more than fit the bill.

Meter readings a bit off.
Overall a sturdy item. However the forward meter reads lower than the radio meter as well as the other meter it was meant to replace. The reflected meter is also not as responsive as expected.

Accurate and easy to read
This is an accurate and easy to read meter. I keep it in line all the time and monitor my average power out. I'm quite pleased with this purchase.
