I was surprised at how much more biting power these center cutters have compared to the standard diagonal cutters. Effortless clean cuts. Impressed.

They are incredible and durable

In a way I shouldn't review these because I've never owned any. But two guys I worked with each had a pair (so I never really needed to buy any!) and we were always amazed at what these things could do! These things slice right through just about anything you can get the jaws around. We would have something tough we needed to snip (maybe a stainless screw or something like that) and even with large, big-name brand diagonal cutters we couldn't get through them, they would flex and bend, you'd make funny faces, weird noises and your hands would hurt. We'd joke "Break out the Knipex", and these things would slice right through like nothing. I mean, we'd scratch our heads at how well these worked. These have a really beefy head design with a lot of leverage and they just don't flex when you really tax them like other cutters do, and it makes all the difference. Face it, the Germans know how to make good stuff, it's as simple as that. You do get what you pay for, these are serious cutters.Update; years later now, I finally broke down and bought a pair! I had to, even though I'm retired now and don't do nearly as much mechanical work, don't really need to be spending more money on tools...I HAD to finally have a pair of these! :) And they've already come in handy. Like I said originally, these WILL cut through things that normal cutters barely scratch, you WILL be dumbfounded when you see what you can make these things go through. Even though I don't need as many tools as I used to, I still "needed" these! :)
