Best $7 I ever spent
It works great. No more picking up brass in the dirt or pelting your shooting partner. It attaches to the front securely and the rear parts hangs around the brass deflector. Sometimes the brass gets stuck near the neck of the bag but all it takes to fix is a quick shake of the rifle and it's good for another ~30 rounds. I think it just needs to be broken in a little more. I wouldn't use this in any sort of real tactical situation because it is possible the brass could jam if it doesn't fly out all the way, but for the range it's excellent.

Nice shell catcher
Nice shell catcher. Has a tendency to pull away after 15 or so shells. The concept is there, I might try adding some velcro behind the brass deflector to help support it during use. Works great at a table or prone.I wanted to update my review. The seller sent me out a replacement and I have used it a couple times. The replacement works much better. The frame on the replacement is stiffer, which supports it around the ejection port.

But a good value for the price
Does what I need it to do. Biggest thing about it is the zipper doesn't close real tight at the end and tries to work it's way open. But a good value for the price.

Worth the investment
The opening needs to be tweaked a little, but works great!! No more chasing brass around at the range, or picking up the wrong brass. Now I shoot, unzip the bag at the bottom and let the brass fall into my bucket, then continue shooting.

Fyland Brass Catcher, Cartridge Shell Catcher... Fyland
Looks just like one I paid a lot more for. It is a gift to a new AR owner. I am hoping he will save some brass for me.Looks well made and is light weight. It has a long hook and loop or Velcro strap to hold the bag secure.I found that the left end of the metal frame (right hand rifle) should be fitted over the brass deflector so the deflector bounces the cases into the bag. if it is fitted to the outside of the bag's frame the cases can catch the wire and some will bounce out. This type of fit will also allow the strap to go all around the back end of the handguard or close...the smaller diameter area of the handguard and the Velcro can be cinched up tighter. No need to remove the bag unless there is a jam or other malfunction.
