Perfect! I used to sit my notebook on the table and prop it up with whatever I had on hand. I saw this and decided to give it a try. It is wonderful. It held my Five-Star notebook perfectly. With the different settings for positions, it can sit nearly straight up or further down. Any way I use it, it works great. For the price, you can't go wrong. It's very durable and not flimsy. Would highly recommend it.

I needed a stand to hold my guitar chord books when I practice. I took a chance on this black metal stand and I'm really glad I did. It's approximately 8" wide by 9" high. It folds pretty flat to about a quarter of an inch where it folds so it's easily portable and storable in a drawer. It's lightweight but sturdy enough to manage holding my heavy 9" W X 12" H Beatles complete chord book. See photos. That song book is heavy and the stand holds it without issue. No matter what section of the book I'm working from it remains balanced. It seems to be well made; all edges are smooth. For the price, you can't really go wrong. It functions exactly as it should. The back bar has 6 slot options for the book leaning height and the front bar is adjustable to accommodate the width and hold the book in place. I'm truly happy with it. Hopefully I will get some longevity out of it. Time will tell but so far overall, I'm really pleased and I'd definitely purchase again.

I really like this stand for the price I paid. Seems very sturdy and has a lot a room to put a book or even multiple books if needed. The paper holder on the front is very sturdy and will stay in place where you need it instead have to adjust all of the time. Sometimes I need to stack my book on top of pages I have resting there. I purchased two. One for my home and one for my desk at work. I use them to place my planners in so that I can see them through out the day without leaving a book just laid out on the counter or table. I would definitely recommend and purchase again.

Great product. Sturdy. I primarily use it for holding my recipe book or sheet of paper. I am beyond pleased. It’s adjustable and easy to handle. Looks nice too. The clip holds securely. Easily fits wherever I need it.

This is my third book stand exactly like this, so I must like it pretty well. Bargain for the money.

I was looking for a stand for my paperwork that would help me from looking down and this is perfect! I know it’s initially designed for books, but single sheets of paper work just fine. I like that you can adjust the angles depending on height. It’s metal, so it’s super sturdy, the clasp at the bottom lets you fit a variety of things. Paperback, hardcover, short, tall books - it doesn’t matter. I opted for yellow as a pop of color in my millennial gray office and it’s nice. Not too sure on if the paint will chip, but it won’t matter to me! The yellow is more subtle than in the review photos, closer to what’s pictured on the listing.

I regularly copy down information from textbooks and was finding it very frustrating to balance them on my desk and still see them while typing. This stand has been a life-saver for me. It is stable and sturdy and I use it literally every day. I don't have to sit hunched sideways to see the book as I'm typing so it's much better for my back. I put full spiral bound textbooks on it up to an inch thick and I have never had it tip over or be unstable. I don't think it would work well for a thicker boom but it holds that size of book, about 8.5"x11", very well. It keeps the page open and makes it easy to enter information into the computer from the book. It is pretty thin and light but the base is quite stable. The only thing I don't like is that the metal bar that holds the pages goes over the last couple sentences at the bottom and makes them hard to read. It doesn't take up much room on my desk so I just leave it there all the time. I highly recommend this item.

I was looking for a book stand to hold my textbooks as I was studying and writing papers. I was a little leary about this one because its not as big as some of the others but it holds my heavy books with ease. The levels of heights help depending on what I am working on. It works with my smaller books as well as larger ones. Its stable and I've had no problems with it falling or not holding. For the price, it was better than I thought it was going to be. I thought it would last a short time enough for me to be able to buy one of the more expensive ones but I don't have to do that as I am satisfied with this purchase.

Upon opening the box I thought--Gosh this Bookstand is Little! Desperately needing a stand for The Bread Bible: Rose Levy Beranbaum--a 600 page book I gave it a try. Wow! It worked! The little front bit adjusts for pages or size of book. Really a great buy. And it lays flat when not in use, taking up no additional space. Very Happy!

I love the product. It's the exact thing I needed to type out assignments. Only trouble is with the delivery courier. I don't understand why they leave parcels right in front of my front door. It's a tripping hazard. Can't someone explain to these fools where to leave items without making it dangerous?
