Cricut Cartridge Storage Binder, 10"X10.5"X2"

Because I have the Gypsy with all my cartridges loaded into it, I do not use the actual cartridges regularly. However, I of course need to keep the cartridges and the contents secure, which is why I love this binder! It holds everything together in one spot, rather than having 12 of those large storage boxes taking up precious space. Plus, for those cartridges that did not come in a fancy storage box, it keeps them safe rather than thrown anywhere once removed from the packaging. The binder itself is well made and has a simple, yet clever design. The cartridges are held securily on the left, while the contents are placed to thet right and zips closed. The handle on the back binder is a nice feature for easy handling. The binder can be kept on a bookshelf and out of the way; or open on your table as you work. A great buy!

Because this only holds 12 Cricut cartridges, I hesitated ordering this binder! But when it came, I was thrilled! It was very well made, as are all things "Cricut"! All the cartridges are very easy to locate, which is a far cry from digging thru my Cricut Machine carrying case! This case is small enough to take to a crop, yet holds all the cartridges you use the most! I highly recommend this item! Amazon, as usual, had the best price!

My friend and I were talking one day that we need to come up with this exact design to store and carry our Cricut cartridges. Cricut beat us to it and this is just perfect. Sturdy case, very organized, cute and easy to carry. Not too bulky and the outside handle is great with the ability to write on the label inside the handle. I put all of my fonts in one case and labeled it so I can just get to those as needed. I am an orgizational freak, expecially with my scrapbooking supplies and this is just perfect. I love this binder!

No wonder these binders are selling out as soon as they are stocked. I bought 3 because I wanted space saving storage my 36 cartridges- the original boxes took an entire shelf in my craft room. These only take 3" each, fully stocked with 12 cartridges and all the keypads and booklets. The binder is MUCH better than the storage boxes that held 8- each cartridge is easy to access in its own net sling and the booklets and keypads are together in their own pocket. The binder has 12 pockets and I put the booklets in the same order as the cartridges and made up an index sheet. TIP: I pulled out the foreign pages in the booklets to reduce the bulk and then slid the keypad within them to ease removal as a set. By the way, the zipper, which appears wavy in photographs, is straight and true once the binder is packed full. I plan to keep these at home for storage and take a jukebox or gypsy if I travel. (I cannot imagine using 12 cartridges in a short period at a crop.)

Cricut Cartridge Storage Binder vs ArtBin Cricut Storage Case This binder holds 12 cricut cartridges plus (for older cartridges) the books and keypad overlays quite compactly. Newer cartridges don't have the keypad overlay and can just use a universal keypad overlay nor do the new cartridges come with the large books/pamphlets they used to. My main issue with this is that it is frequently difficult to get the cartridges out from their individual pouches & the titles are not always visible for you to see. Other than that, this is my 2nd binder to hold my cartridges - I like it more than the Artbin Cricut Storage case (which I also have) because the binder is easier to store, easier to carry - even several at a time & is more durable. The Artbin Cricut Storage case is nice - and to be fair it does hold 4 more cartridges, overlays & books than the binder - but it is plastic & has 2 cracks where it clips shut....and I've barely used it. Another plus for the Artbin Storage case is that the layout of cartridges is nice - easy access to the cartridges and you can fit misc. tools & paper as well. However you need a lot of table space to open this and work with it. with the binders you don't. While the ArtBin case has some pros, for me the binder, while nowhere near perfect - just makes more sense for durability, space, secureness & overall practicality.

I can even image life before the storage binder. My cricut cartridges were starting to take over in my storage area and caused me to have to haul another tote (we all know how much we take with us) when going to crops, which I do about once a month. Now instead of that I have two binders that hold them all. I was concerned, when I got them, that they wouldn't close once all the books, overlays and cartridges were inside, but that worry was quickly gone. Amazing product, don't even hesitate....just buy!

I really like this binder/case, it stores my cartridges as well as the book and templates. I never thought I would take them from their boxes as I like the way they look and put them in a bookcase. However, I have found that toting them around in the boxes is a different matter entirely! I gave this a four star instead of a five because although you have slots for 12 cartridges and can fit those in, the books and templates are another matter. You have to either take your books apart to reduce their size (maybe getting rid of foreign languages instructions) but that is tricky since sometimes the English is also on the other side or you have to do what I did and put three templates to a slot on top and move four books to the remaining two slots. That being said you can only fit ten booklets and templates. So I only have ten in there right now. I do like it though and can cope with that. If you can too then you are forewarned and you should buy it! It certainly is a nice binder, well made and cute to boot. Oh, and interestingly enough it fits in the top zipper part of my big green Cricut Case that my machine is in!

I first saw this product when I went to my friend's home to make cards. I could not believe how well it organized and held 12 cartridges and accompanying books and pads. I had been trying the snapware solution, but they would slide all over not matter how tight I made my sections. This handy creation not only stores it all in a very nice, sturdy way--but the handle allows for quick grabbing and carrying, and fits nicely in my scrapbook cart. I am going to purchase another; I did not realize I had that many cartridges!
