A good value if you need all the things.
This was a great assortment of educational math manipulatives. I bought three bags for my homeschooling children because it was cheaper to buy the bags than to buy just the two things I originally planned to buy.Specifically, the foam pieces work as expected. The plotting grid is fun though the x and y axis pieces don't stay in place unless you stick a peg somewhere in them. Maybe they're supposed to snap in somehow to hold them still but I haven't figured it out if so. The "Build a Grid" works but the storage of the different cards is annoying because they don't quite fit and so the edges of the cards get slightly bent. I haven't used that one with my kids yet but I anticipate them having difficulty sliding the cards in and out of the storage spot in the back. I considered storing the cards separately but they will get lost if I do that.

MAKES LEARNING FUN
This kit says its suitable for 11-13, though I think its suitable from around the age of 7 to teach them the concept. The visualisation does really help make it easier to learn. I have found explaining fractions to them a lot easier. It is well made and well thought of and would recommend this as a learning aid whilst keeping it fun.

Great construction and learning toy
Great construction activity kit that will help your children learn about engineering, construction, maths, science while having fun and encouraging logical thinking, practical skills, encouraging their imagination, problem solving, planning and helping develop motor skills and coordination. All in one toy whilst having fun. My 8 year old loves playing with this and I love. Knowing he is learning through fun!!! This fun kit allows children to learn to:♥ Use colour tiles to solve word problems with units.♥ Build a table of values for a nonlinear equation and make observations♥ Model operations with integers using different colours♥ Model multistep operations for integers with different signsAnd more. There are 10 activities included and explained in the booklet that comes with the activities and you get the following items in the box:♥ 40 x colour tiles♥ 59 x 2 colour counters♥ 1 x build a grid frame♥ 8 x build a grid transparencies♥ 8 x build a grid double sided array cards♥ 1 x XY coordinate pegboard♥ 50 x pegs♥ 50 x rubber bands♥ 4 x squared variables♥ 8 x variables♥ 20 x units♥ 1 x activity guideGreat value for money.

Perfect toy to make maths more accessible and intuitive.
Excellent way to help school children understand things related to maths in a more visual way. At school more often than not, a lot of maths concepts are very abstract and it can be tough to understand. This kit has all sorts of bits and bobs that will help children put their knowledge into practise and get a new perspective. It will help make maths more accessible, visual and intuitive which will help children learn things more easily.Quite overwhemling when you first get everything out but once you go through each element, it becomes clear in its use. An overall well made product. Recommended.

Excellent visual resources for all ages!
I have to say when this arrived it all looked rather confusing and overwhelming. As a parent of a 6 and 11 year old who, like many others struggled with home schooling during lockdown really wish I’d known of this set sooner. This set says it’s for 11-13 year olds but what’s included will really help when I’m trying to explain to my 6 year old about fractions and shapes and even simple addition and subtraction. My daughter is enjoying making shapes with the pegboard whilst my older daughter will find this useful for graphing -and coordinates. The algebra tiles and counters are perfect for showing fractions, addition, subtraction. Multiplication and division, even patterns, as is the ‘build a grid’ set.I find some of the included instructions a little hard to follow but I will certainly be using these as a visual aid to help both my children with their maths.I’d recommend!
