MGV500 Heavy Weight Volleyball (Official Size)

This ball has done wonders for my daughter, so much so that we have now purchased two of them. Setting with this ball has built her wrist strength and increased her ability to set the ball higher and farther across the court. The ball is well crafted and holds up very well after repeated use.

Twice the weight of an official volleyball doesn’t sound heavy. BUT, wait until you set it for a few minutes. It is a very high quality ball. It looks and feels like a normal ball but just weighs more. CAUTION, only use for setting. Do not try and pass, hit, serve, or dig with this ball. You can feel the jarring to your elbows, wrist, and shoulders the first time you contact it. Wow. It is great for building setting strength and getting newbies wrists to cock. Also, it is not too heavy. If it does go through your hands it will not demolish your face.

This ball weighs exactly 1 pound so the desctiption was accurate. This is a perfect weight for my 13 year old to practice and strengthen her fingers and wrist. I bought a few other balls and this one is the winner by far. look no further, dont stress, just buy it and you wont regret it.

Didn’t realize there was a difference with a setter’s training ball and the ball they played with on a normal game. This withstood the test of time! Great quality!

Granddaughter uses it to improve setting skills while practicing off season. Great for her!
