You would add 2 tablespoons per lb. of rock for both Stages 1 and Stage 2 (that is shown). Steps 3 and 4 will require 1 tablespoon per lb. of rock.

Is this good for etching glass? Has anyone tried it on glass?

Yes, it will work for tumbling glass. Using Step 2 will give a matte finish. Tumbler for a couple of days and check if are happy with the finish. You may have to tumble a couple more days to get the effect you like. To get a more clear look, continue with Step 3 grit (500 grit) and then possibly on to Step 4 (aluminum oxide).

Is it 6 table spoons of grit for 3 pouns of rock? The video doesn't show them putting that amount in
