It fits!
I have an Elite Gourmet EC812 Electric 12-Cup Coffee Percolator and have had a hard time finding a replacement knob. The knob fits perfectly but I have to use the original ring. The one that came with this one sits up to high. Other than that this is a perfect fit.

So Far, So Good
I've used this several times now, and it has not leaked, melted, or had any other problems with it so far. The original one that came with my percolator had morphed and was causing coffee to spill out. I could not find a new one in the store, so I bought this one off line and it works great. It works for the eight cup size coffee pots, just so you know.

Back in business brewing piping hot coffee
I bought a stove top coffee percolator made by Faberware. It has a lifetime warranty. The black ring around the top slowly cracked, then completely fell off. I kept brewing coffee with it, but the clear percolator top was slowly starting to crack and the threads that hold it in place were breaking off. I emailed the company as it has a wonderful lifetime warranty. I got no response of any kind. So much for a warranty. I found this on another website and just the shipping was going to cost $17. So I kept waiting and I finally found what I needed on Amazon and the shipping was much cheaper. I am now brewing again with my stainless steel coffee percolator on the stove top and I make great steaming hot coffee every morning. I would not go back to using a regular coffee pot as they don’t get hot enough for me. I highly recommend this piece to replace a broken one if it will fit your coffee pot.
