Great game to open conversations / explore feelings with grade-schoolers
My 8 year old granddaughter loves taking turns with me answering these questions. She will ASK to play this game; her younger sister (6) plays along, but doesn't benefit as much as the 8 year old. The cards are a fantastic way to get her to unplug and open conversations about some deeper topics. She's remarkably introspective and puts a lot of thought into her answers. I bought this after her parent's divorce as we were seeing some anger issues. These are fun, spark talk about feelings and I think they have been helpful.

Fun Game
We played the Ungame on a road trip with three adults and four kids. It made the trip go faster and there was a lot of laughs.

Helps kids to think about and talk about important things
This worked well with elementary age children. It sets off a topic for them to think about and talk about. I learned a lot listening to them. This is good for their thinking skills. A highly verbal 5 year old can play as well as a ten year old in the same game. There are sets for different age groups. All are excellent. It brings a family closer together.

Surprisingly effective
I went back and forth on my decision to purchase the Ungame for a long time. I kept coming back to and finally decided that it was worth a try. I have 2 children that are adopted and was looking to work on communicating and getting to know each other better. They loved this game. So many valuable lessons in one little box: taking turns, remaining quiet while another person is speaking, learning to listen, expressing yourself clearly... I highly recomend this "game" to parents looking to strengthen their bond with their children.

I highly recommend this game.
I play this game with my wife and my preschool daughter (she can kinda read but I still have to read her card to her). She loves the game and often asks to play it. Sometimes when I set the dinner table I place one card under each of our plates. After prayer, we'll take turns with our cards and then eat our food. Other times we play we'll limit the time to 10 or 15 minutes because she is young. We've played 10 or 15 minute games with it a handful of times, and we've done the dinner table thing a handful of times, too. We've only done deck 1. We plan on moving to deck 2 on New Years Day. I've moved slow with it because she is so young. I wanted to make sure the game is going smoothly and give her more practice at listening and talking before we get to the more serious stuff. So far (just with "non-serious" deck 1) my daughter has cried and I have cried. If I ask her how her day has gone, she might not even acknowledge me. But if we're playing this game and she draws a card that says "Talk about your day," then it's on and she might talk about her day for five or more minutes! I highly recommend this game.

Great for therapy
This is one of my favorite therapy tools. Can be used in almost any setting and most age groups, with some adaptations. Excellent addition to your counseling office.

Helps with trauma therapy
I’m a trauma therapist. Patients don’t usually like opening up about stuff. But we’ve made relay races, used scavenger hunts, all sort of ways to answer questions, boring game on my own. Great for supplement to a therapy session.

Perfect game for groups
Perfect game for groups! Can easily pull 1 card and get a huge discussion going! The kids (female/grade 4-5) love the #2 deck of the more serious questions.

Okay
Not Bad, Not Great, or so my significant other says. She is a certified Canadian Counselor who used them while counseling children, but she said they're okay.
