What is the lure rating?

Depends on the line and strength rating of the rod. The rod rated for mono 10 to 17 pounds would be good for lures weighing 3/8 oz to 2 oz. The 12 to 25 pound mono rod is good for 1/2 oz to 3 oz lures. The 20 to 40 pound mono rod is good for 3 oz to 8 oz lures.

Says ugly stick, but in discription says fenwick. Doesnt list a length, what up with that?

I purchased the 7' rod. There is no reference to Fenwick on the rod.

Great pier/ surf rod

Very nice heavy and durable rod. Was looking for a heavy pier/ surf rod and this is definitely perfect with a 6000 series pen reel. Long grip for extra leverage
