### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun addition to preschooler's toolbox

I got my 4 year grandchild a tool box for Christmas. She was fascinated by her dad's tape measure and I wanted to add one to her toolbox. I considered a regular metal one until an older grandchild reminded me how she cut her finger on one when she was little. I took this tape measure out of the box when it arrived and played with it to make sure it was safe and fun to play with. I love this toy! It's bigger than your average tape measure and the crank retractation makes it safe for preschoolers- it can't snap back on them. The tape measure part is made out of a plastic coated material so it can't cut them. It makes a cranking sound which other reviewers said was noisy. Kids love noise and I felt like it added to the toy's appeal. It didn't bother me at all.
