Perfect score, would give more then 5/5 stars of I could.
This headset not only complements my ARGB/Aura SYNC light setup with its dynamic lighting but also delivers outstanding functionality, the logo light up and I was able to add it to my music beat light show with my pc, keyboard, mouse, speaker. The microphone's ability to detect and isolate only your voice is a game-changer, eliminating the need to constantly mute and unmute during conversations. I tried to put the microphone right next to my speaker playing loud music and it isolated it and never activated since it had detected it was a song and not someone speaking. The feature of muting when the microphone is lifted is very convenient. The comfort factor, combined with Dolby Audio 7.1 Surround Sound, enhances the overall gaming and audio experience. In summary, the Corsair HS80 RGB USB headset offers a perfect blend of aesthetics, functionality, and comfort. If you're looking for a premium gaming headset with advanced features, this one is a top-notch choice. A well-deserved 5/5 for its outstanding performance and seamless integration especially at that price point!

Beautiful, quality built, terrible fit and feeling
One of the best mics I've ever heard on a headset, bar none! However, I'm an average sized man and these headphones are WAY TOO SMALL for my head. The clamping force is easily 3x more than my previous headsets, and the ear cups are too small for my ear to fit comfortably inside. My eyes water from the pressure as well. I am used to open-backed headphones, so I gave these a few hours of use to see if I could get used to them, but nope, just sweaty ears and over-stimulated scalp from the amount of pressure. The fact that I cannot plug these into a dedicated mic and headset jack on my soundcard is another big fail, WHY must they be USB? Now I need to run icue software just to get audio, no thanks. Basically, if you're just a weekend gamer and want the best mic quality for the money, these would be for you. But if you work on a PC all day, these are terrible if you're anything other than a child due to their incredibly snug fit. I am going to just purchase another set of Philips X2HR and use my boom mic moving forward.

Perfect for entry level
FOR THOSE WHO ARENT AUDIOPHILES OR EXPERTS -- READ THIS This headset is one of the best entry level gaming headsets i've purchased. They are made sturdy, adjustable, and without error. For those who are deciding between this headset and other prevalent devices, choose this one. Don't pay mind to nitpicky reviews unless you are sure you understand the humongous words and technical terms they use. Pros: - Made with metal, memory foam, and high quality materials - Bass drivers are at the perfect level of medium - Very loud, you won't need to max your volume manager out in order to hear - The microphone is the best headset microphone in my opinion, no pop filter necessary, clear and non-suppressed, as well as compatible with voice mod or third party software - The mute functions are spectacular, the software it comes with allows you to chose a mute key as well as the push up mic and mute button - Mic is perfect for mumblers, whisperers, and anyone who is shy Cons: - The highs are sharp, which causes audio to peak high - The mic is very firm and almost unable to be posed - The mic is surround based, meaning it tends to pick up outside noise—however you can use noise cancelling features from third party software and built in functions like Discord has - The headset is tight but has adjustable features like the headband - The earmuffs do not extend downwards or upwards but you can adjust the headband to elude to the same feature Happy purchasing!

Worth the price
My second time buying this headset, first time was 2018 and they held on for 7 years of daily use. Decided to replace them after the earpads started peeling and the cord had some wear and tear that made me nervous, but otherwise they still worked fine. Honestly the best headset I've ever purchased.

Lasting well so far, good sound quality
The mic is much louder than my prior headset, Corsair VOID. Though it still requires a bit of boost. That said, this headset has good sound quality (for a usb gaming headset) and they are really comfortable. The only issue I have is the headband isn't quickly adjustable. The upside is it will stay the same from use to use, unlike some that will expand/contract and you'd have to adjust often. The downside is there is some trial error and finicking to get the sizing right. Not a major downside. Another plus is the volume is a wheel, versus buttons. This makes for quick adjustment of volume. On that, they are really loud. I use mine at 8 (out of 100) and even that can be too loud. This doesn't appear to be an easy thing to adjust, i.e. reduce output by 50% or whatever to give me more range. Though it hasn't proven to be a real issue. Overall, a good upgrade from the Corsair Void and light years better than the Logitech G35s I had years ago. The wireless version of this headset is tempting, though the mic quality seems to be better with the wired version. Plus, no batteries or dongle to worry about.
