Review: Works great with AKG WMS40 Mini Dual Wireless System - This is the lapel mic you've been looking for to go with your AKG WMS40 Mini Dual wireless system. I originally purchased a Av-jefes Tcm141ll-ta3 Lavalier Microphone for Akg, Samson for the same price and it can't hold a candle to this mic. Needs very little gain and the quality is top notch. I was able to get excellent sound with very little fiddling of the gain and volume on my mixer. The holder has a clip that the cord sits in and is firmly attached. No danger of it popping out. The foam windscreen is held securely on the mic as well. I wish I bought this one first, but the Av-jefes will just be my backup now.

This is the lapel mic you've been looking for to go with your AKG WMS40 Mini Dual wireless system. I bought this to pair with the Samson XPD2 wireless mic. The stock Samson mic was poor. This Chinese knockoff of someone’s intellectual property is a great upgrade to the stock Samson mic. For the price, it sounds great. Build quality decent. The look is pro. My only complaint is I wish the mic cord was more pro like and not cheap cord, but unless you work in pro audio, you’ll never know the difference.
