love this wool coat keeps me nice and warm

Bought this coat last Fall in Large and it fit me like a tent, returned it. Decided to try a Medium this time around and could not be happier. I am 5’10” 195 lbs, wide shoulders, narrow hips, long torso. The medium fits PERFECT and is still roomy enough to be comfy with a flannel on. The LARGES are for BIG DUDES…keep this is mind. You will need to be barrel chested, big shouldered, wider hipped, and yes, big bellied possibly, to fill out a Large. My measurements are correct,,,purchase accordingly. The coat is gorgeous and well made.

This coat is the legendary Mackinaw Cruiser from Filson and is one of the few items that is worth its price and weight from the company. The Mackinaw wool is condensed and is 24 oz. This coat will keep you warm in the teens with a sweater underneath it and it is a very functional and utilitarian piece of equipment. You will most likely have this for generations with minor upkeep like buttons if fall off- easy fix. *sizing* This coat fits large. I am 5’10 200 lb muscular build and a medium fits well with enough room to fit a sweater underneath and enough room to move. I initially ordered a large and was swimming in it like I could actually wear a schott motorcycle leather jacket underneath the large and still move lol. Get this coat people if you can, definitely worth the price and buy it for life.
