These are really good chisels but the edges are not parallel to the faces do you wont get a good mortise if youre chiseling by hand but great for other uses

I had to get this size chisel to be able to make a repair for a neighbor (and fellow former-active-duty Marine.) It is now a permanent addition to the set of Narex chisels that I already have. It worked where it was needed, and well - as I have come to expect from Narex hand tools.

It's well made, steel seems good, am hoping this was just a easy mix up at the shipper

Using it to inlet components and carving the stock on a muzzleloader rifle project. As good as other European companies at a little lower price. I only wish they made gouges.

Needed just the barest hint of sharpening out of the packaging to be wicked, razor sharp. Has been holding its edge superbly. Absolutely fantastic chisel for getting into tight/deep/narrow spaces.If I didn't have a set of standard irwin marples and a set of japanese chisels already, I'd jump on a whole set of Narex in a heartbeat. Unbelievable value for money.
