Question 1

Why is the Pen not included?

Accepted Answer

When you purchase the new Surface Pro, you get to personalize the experience to fit your needs. All Surface Pro accessories – including the new Surface Pro Signature Type Cover, Surface Arc Mouse, the new Surface Pen, and Surface Dial – are sold separately so you can customize to match your personal style. We think you’ll love the new Surface Pen, with its additional functionality with the new Surface Pro.

Question 2

What's different about the surface pro compared to the sp4?

Accepted Answer

Surface Pro is the most versatile laptop. We’re excited about its improvements over previous generations, such as: It’s lighter weight & thinner than all our other Surface Pros. It features longer battery life – 13.5 hours! That’s 50% more than Surface Pro 4 and 68% more than Surface Pro 3. You’ll get better performance with a 7th Generation (Kaby Lake) Processor. It;s the latest processor from Intel, and it’s a laptop-grade processor (rather than a mobile-grade processor). Surface Pro is 2.5x faster than Surface Pro 3!It’s quieter: The Core M and i5 models don’t have a fan (unlike our Surface Pro 3 and Pro 4), and the i7 model has improved hybrid cooling. It has a more immersive acoustic experience thanks to newly redesigned front-facing speakers. Writing is even easier with the next-generation hinge, which folds all the way down to 15 degrees (“Studio Mode”) so you can use the Pen most naturally.

Question 3

What's included in the box?

Accepted Answer

What are the details of the warranty when you purchase the latest model of the Surface Pro (2017) from Amazon? At Microsoft.com, the Surface Pro comes with a two-year warranty? Can you extend the warranty at Microsoft.com when you register the item? Thank you for answering.

Question 4

Why doesn’t it come with windows 10 s if you’re so keen on that config of os?

Accepted Answer

We believe in Windows 10 S and we are excited about its potential, especially for higher ed students and people who are looking for a streamlined Windows experience with superior performance. Our research shows that Surface Pro is appealing to mobile professionals and creators, who we know use a broader set of apps. Not all of these apps are in the Windows Store today, so we’ve chosen to ship Surface Pro with Windows 10 Pro, which we know you’ll love.
