I like it great flavor glass bottle !

I ordered a bottle of Plantation Blackstrap Molasses because I heard such great things about its health benefits, since I’m very health-conscious. Although it was used in my household as a child many years ago, I never considered its health benefits until recently. I use it in many things as an alternative to my favorite sweetener, honey. It reminds me of a slower and simpler time. Blackstrap molasses has a bold, dark, old-fashioned flavor with a slight bitterness that lets you know it came from something real instead of a chemistry lab. It has that kind of rich taste that feels like it belongs in an old farmhouse kitchen or sitting on the counter at a truck stop diner that still makes food from scratch. Unsulphured blackstrap molasses retains natural minerals like iron, calcium, potassium, and magnesium. Plantation Blackstrap Molasses is a dependable product that has stood the test of time.

Exactly what I was looking for... not available where I shop. Full of minerals, it is a health booster in many recipes, whether it's soups & stews, or in cookies and other desserts. Turn your preferred sweetener into 'brown' sugar.

I felt the effects almost immediately, extremely good source of iron, potassium and calcium, just add to warm water,, it's kinda sweet also!! Definitely worth the money!!!

We have been eating too many snacks and sweets, so I am reviving some of my older recipes as we try to reduce sugar and fat in our diet, and blackstrap molasses keeps showing up as the "sweet" ingredient. I have been low on iron, and am looking to eat more foods with high iron to bring my body's reserves in my bones back up to where they should be (preventing osteoporosis) as well. My parents used to use this instead of sugar in everything. It both has more nutrients than sugar - 1 Tablespoon has 20% of the daily requirement for iron 😉- but also has a more complex flavor with a nice bitterness. My only "hmm", is that this is very thin, syrupy - not the thick, treacly consistency I am used to. To the good, it comes out of the bottle easily, but it is messing with my liquid proportions in the recipes, so I wish it was thicker. It will not go to waste though, I can adjust! And it is wonderful in baked beans, cornbread, whole wheat bread, chili, beef stew... just a spoonful as seasoning adds a wonderful touch to all those cozy warm dishes we cook fall and winter. My favorite though, is to cream butter and molasses into a spread for smearing on biscuits instead of jam, mmmm. An a bit healthier 😁. Will be keeping a bottle in the pantry.

I purchased Plantation Blackstrap Molasses after clicking on the bottle labels looking specifically for 42 calories per tablespoon. When my order came, each bottle was labeled 60 calories. I donated these bottles, as I could not use them for the health benefits I expected from this product. According to Dr. Jennifer Daniels, Blackstrap Molasses containing over 50 calories per tablespoon has no efficacy or health benefit. In fact, says Dr. Daniels, Blackstrap Molasses used to have only 20 calories per tablespoon and was used as a cure for cancer. I believe her as when I’ve purchased and used Plantation Blackstrap Molasses with 42 calories per tablespoon, I saw significant results. My message is simply this: Consumers stand up and demand that traditional products not be altered from their original formulation to the ‘new and improved’ version of themselves. Many times the improvements make the products less effective, as is the case in 60 calorie Blackstrap Molasses. We have to ask, “what was the rationale for adding more calories to this product?” This practice seems to be the new standard, I cannot find the lower calorie molasses anywhere. I called Amazon customer service and spoke with JC. He assured me that my concern would be shared with his supervisor. My point in contacting Amazon was that there is hardly a company in the world that has a bigger platform to help people continue to get the products they really want.

Fast delivery. Well packaged but cap broke at first when trying to open the bottle. My 1st time to try blackstrap mollases, and I can say I'm loving it. Its the second day of trying it and I can say my gut likes it. Looks like it's kicked acid reflux outta the window!, I actually bought and vitex to treat~fibroid. I prefer this to apple cider vinegar and all those so called culture yoghurt with nothing in them. With this mollases it is what it is. Good stuff.

Good product I would buy again

Me & my wife love this.. It's our new favourite brand of blackstrap molasses, as our old one is not available anymore ... i love the flavor & it does helps my wife's poor blood circulation and anemia as it has the nutrients that she needs! We have just a little complaint, on our recent purchase they sent us a bottle with a wrong label.. were expecting the same bottle with 20 percent iron & 42 calories like the first one as it's more helpful for my wife's health.. maybe it's just a mistake.. all in all great product and it arrived fast.

We are very satisfied with this product. The only concern I have is the overpricing
