Hapstone V6 Precision Knife Sharpener (Limited Edition)

Waited a bit to review so I could put it to use. If you are familiar with Edge Pro then you already understand how this one works it even uses the same stone format, which is convenient since there are plenty of 3rd party stones available for it. This Hapstone takes the advantages of the Edge Pro and corrects all the deficiencies. I also purchased the full set of Choseras for mine and the combination of the consistent angle this sharpener provides along with the quick-cutting and high polishing action of the Choseras means I can get beautiful stupid-sharp and mirror polished edges quickly and easily.If you loves knives and want to get the best out of them then buy this sharpener and invest in good stones. You won't regret the somewhat costly investment.

Very sturdy and well built sharpener all metal construction with very little plastic unlike some other well known sharpeners. Used it to sharpen 2 knives so far to scary sharp with the basic stones with of course stropping with bark river white compound. It works great at holding an angle and holding onto the knife. The 3 point mount and magnet hold the knife steady and helps put a consistent edge on both sides. Worked great with my made in china edge pro stones but the basic ones worked best. I didn't have any issue with the rubber on the knife ledge the sides are still metal and hold the knife sable without play. This along with some good stones and a good quality digital protractor can keep your knives scary sharp. The knife in the picture is nothing special just a Cheap 30 dollar Calphalon 7" Santoku but this sharpener put a mirror finish edge on it. I've got 2 sets of Boride stones coming for this sharpener from moldshoptools cant wait to see how they work. (Boride CS-HD & T2 Stones)

This will make your blades the sharpest they can possibly get.Great system.

Love this tool. It's simply awesome. I do want the rotating clamp to go with it.
