Unit works great - Support is Excellent !
I purchased one of these driveway alarms in Jan. 2023, so I've been using it for about a year and a half now. After working flawlessly for that time, last week it stopped alerting when the sensor was triggered. I was still within the 2 year warranty, so I emailed the company about the issue. They responded in less than 24 hours, and asked me to do a couple of simple troubleshooting steps to determine if the issue was with the sensor or the receiver, so they could send me a replacement.I emailed them the results of my troubleshooting efforts, and again they responded in less than 24 hours, saying that based on what I told them, the unit itself is fine, and sent me instructions on how to pair it again.Well, it turns out that the unit IS just fine, and I just wasn't pairing it correctly - it had lost its connection due to a power outage and just had to be paired back to the receiver correctly. After I did that, the unit is working as expected. The sensor is outside, about 150 feet from the receiver, which is inside the house and it has no problem receiving the signal.

Phone notifications are usually silent
I have had this unit up for 3 days, and overall am very pleased with it. The remote is about 150 feet from the base unit and has to transmit through a horse wire fence, a chain link fence, and one wall of my house. I was worried it might suffer from a Faraday Cage effect, but it seems to have no problem with the fences. While it has only been 3 days, we have been in and out of the driveway several times and it has alarmed each time. I have not listened to all the alarm tones, but I agree with others here that most are a bit obnoxious. I settled on the basic "Ding Dong" tone and it is fine.My only complaint is with the mobile app. It wasn't terribly difficult to get set up and working. The problem is that while I receive a notification on my phone, 90% of the time it is silent. I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5g. When I go into the Phone's notification settings for the app, "Allow sound and vibration" is turned on. When I go into the app itself and navigate to Alarm > Settings >Notification Settings, "Enable Notifications" is on and "Alarm" is on. It seemed to be working much better the first day I set it up, but now, like I said, I get the notification just fine, but I get no sound or vibration 90% of the time. The fact that sometimes it works and other times it does not leads me to believe it is a flaw in the app. I haven't been 16 for a long time so I don't sit and stare at my phone all day. It would be VERY helpful if a sound and/or vibration would alert me to a driveway alarm. All my notifications from other apps are set up to provide sound and vibration and they all work fine.I should also say that this is the case whether I am at home near the unit and my router, or if I am away from the house.Overall I am happy with the device. If I discover what may be causing the silent notification issue, I will update.

Reliable driveway alarm and user friendly app
This is a must have if you have a driveway or any area you want monitored for invited or uninvited guests. The app is user friendly and I can see the time stamp to let me know when some one arrives and departs and I receive notifications on my phone in real time. The app also keeps a history so you can keep track. The app shows when it’s powered by battery or plugged in. And best of all it’s Solar and I don’t have to deal with changing batteries and the spiders that move in behind the sensor and invade the battery compartment. I can choose dogs barking or the Lone Ranger theme, there are 27 alert sounds to choose from and they are controlled by the app and it’s so simple and quick to make changes. Zones 3 and 4 do not flash red when motion sets it off which makes the alert sensor undetectable at night. And I can use my cats picture as the icon. The advantage of knowing that some one is approaching your home assures you the advantage to be prepared regardless if it’s a friend or foe. I sleep better knowing that I will have an early warning before a knock at the door.

Inconsistent performance
Had high hopes for this as it came with an app for my iphone. Instruction could have been clearer. Once synced with my phone I discovered the range wasn't as long as it said it would be (maybe O.K. for right in front of the house but not good for any distance). Very frustrating as sometimes everything worked perfectly (notification on phone as I was passing it) but not the next time. Could not trust it. I tried moving it so it got maximum solar exposure but that made no difference with performance. Not good for a drive of any length. I can't really recommend it.

Easy setup works great
This is a good brand. I got a knock off brand before and had a ton of problems with it. I have been using this for over a month now and works just fine. Range is great I have mine at the bottom of my driveway and I have a long long uphill driveway connected with no issues. Would recommend

only rings about 50% of the time.
First let me say the various tones and noises this thing has built in are TERRIBLE. There is no tone selection that is reasonably pleasant. They all stink.Second, the sensor seems to be VERY hit & miss. I have found it only responds about half the time. I have tried different sensitivity settings and other changes... but it's just not reliable. Considering that the whole purpose of this device is to alert you to motion, failure to do so makes the device entirely unusable. The mobile app also leaves a lot to be desired. It feels like an afterthought.

works good but some flaws
Set up pretty easy. But could use more information on setting up more than one base. I have two sending units and tried to set them up on two bases, but can not get both sending units to actvate when one or the other sending unit activates. I have one base in the house and one base on the back porch. I only get alerts on my phone when I'm close to the house but not when I am out shopping or somewher in town. Other than the two issues and not being able to get more instruction on how to set things up, the units work good.

Works as advertised.
Directions somewhat confusing. Need to consolidate install directions. App should be downloaded first, then the rest of the installation is easy.
