I plugged my headset into my Xbox controller while it was connected to the wheel and no audio. How do I use my headset with the wheel?

I was never able to get it to play through my headset when plugged into my controller. My tv speakers and when my headset was set to Bluetooth worked. My controller also had to be turned off to get the wheel to work so my headset wouldn’t have worked anyways. I’m also on ps5 so I know that was a huge part of the problem. I don’t know if that would be a similar issue on Xbox. I decided to buy the Thrustmaster T248 instead and it works perfectly, but it is around an extra $100.
