200W COB Lights

I'm using this in a church to light up a dark part of our worship area. Overall I'm pleased. It does what I needed it to do. No idea about the longevity, of course. Some specific comments below. Pros: Very bright but fully dimmable with a RGB DMX controller. 2 COB LEDs, one warm-white (DMX channel 1), one cool-white (DMX channel 2), both easily mixed to get the color temp and brightness you need. Optional barn doors work well to limit the lighting to where you need it. Cons: Cooling fan runs constantly, whether the light is on or not. It's not annoyingly loud, but it adds background noise. DMX plugs have no orientation key (like standard XLR plugs), so you have to force-fit them in just the right orientation... but they work. Unit is quite heavy, and outer case is some sort of casting (zinc?). The halves don't meet well, and mine came with a few dings and a crack. I suspect it would shatter if dropped, but up in the air you don't notice the appearance. Instructions are very basic, so you have to have some knowledge of DMX lighting to get it working.

Two years ago we bought 4 of these for our church sanctuary. We just bought our 3rd replacement. Unfortunately we weren't able to install it because it was DOA! I got Amazon to replace it but I'm finished with this company. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for overhead stage lights.

Look for another light. I’m up and down the truss constantly with these. Bad connections and then they quit working.

These are great. Used 6 of them to light our platform at church. Easy to install. More than ample.

You get what you pay for. Started flickering after a few months. One of them stopped working and not responding to the DMX controller altogether only after a few weeks after buying. Already had the lights replaced. 2nd batch still was a dud. The other 2 started flickering all of a sudden. Such a headache, especially when I’m the middle of a song. Very distracting. I’ve got only one left that’s working properly. Not worth the trouble, get good quality lights.

Worked once for about an hour, now it's entirely dead. Was quite bright and the rear controls worked well. I was able to unplug and plug it back in and have it stay on the previous settings. SevenStars customer support was helpful, we tried some steps to see if we could get it working again. When we couldn't they were helpful in arranging a fair and easy refund. I've ordered two more of these, different, cheaper connectors on the cabling, but they are still working great weeks later. Put two of these on a time and they WILL wake you up!!! Especially on the strobe mode. No more torturing the neighbors with my incessant snooze button use.
