I purchased this love seat and 2 recliners for my basement home theater. Great build quality, adjustability, comfort and styling. Have a herniated disc in my back and these are very adjustable and comfortably firm. Had them for a few months and would purchase them again. They shipped in very protective boxes but make sure you have strong youthful help. These are HEAVY and large.

Very pleased with this purchase. It was a couple of hundred dollars cheaper on Amazon than buying direct from Astley and you get the ease of using your Amazon account. The sofa itself feels very nice quality, it's not real leather but feels like it will be hard wearing. Assembly was not easy on my own, but I got it done. With two people it would be a breeze. All you have to do is connect some wires and connect the backs of the two chairs. Took me about 45 minutes, but with two people it would have been 15 minutes or less. It's very comfortable, and reclines smoothly. The seat and back support are very well padded, I would say not too soft or not too firm, just right The lights (which I don't use) are bright blue - I might use them if they could be dimmed and color changed. I am impressed with the built in speakers - I wasn't expecting them to be any good but they connect to my phone and stream my music without issue. The volume is pretty loud and has a nice tone. The color of the sofa is described as grey, but it's more of a brown/grey, which is fine as it matches my two reclining chairs that I bought from another online retailer a few years back but I can no longer find the same brand. These color match really well and the design is similar so the go together quite well. Overall I am delighted with the quality and comfort of this reclining sofa/seat. The only issue I had was with the delivery guys. The would only bring it to the door and not 6ft further and drop it inside, so I had to get a neighbor to help me get it inside. They even delivered it upside down. making the job even harder for me.

Took a very long time to get this couch... Amazon and Ashley mixed up the delivery, brought the wrong item and took weeks to get the right one. When they brought it to the house they wouldn't bring it past my front door hallway. I was lucky I had someone to help unbox it at the time... or it would've taken up the hallway and blocked my front door...It's a very big box so if you can have someone there to help unbox it, I definitely would. Set up wasn't bad. It's very comfy and nice looking. Does what it's supposed to. No damage to the item and we are happy with it especially for the price range.

It’s okay. Loved it at first, then about a month in, the charger stopped working when only used 3-4 times. One side started making a noise when lowering & raising like “rubbing” together, which is annoying. Now the other side is doing the same. I had hoped this would last a few good years but with less than 6 months, it has really worn down & wont last too long. It is comfortable, but already squeaks / springs making noises like it’s 20+ years old. Cheaply made.

The sofa came in one large box that is super heavy. The delivery guys placed the box inside my garage for me and I was able to unbox and take the backs into the house first followed by the lower half of the sofa. I was able to move it all by myself and get it through a 34" door opening. It is very heavy but it's definitely manageable. The color is slightly darker than I imagined based on the pictures but I'm not disappointed. It still looks great but if you're dead set on a light brown, this is not what I would call light brown. The setup is simple with no hardware or tools. Just a couple tabs that slide into brackets. Took me all of 5 min to get all the backs on and cords connected. The sofa itself is super comfortable to me. Foot rest is a tad short but not enough to make me dislike it. All in all, I would buy it again. At the price it definitely met my expectations.

We really like our couch. Delivery was okay. They were very rushed to plop this giant box in our tiny livingroom and leave. Getting it out of the box and putting it together was a bit of a challenge. My husband and I were a bit confused with the wires and getting it connected to plug into our outlet, but we did it. Once it was put together (attaching the back cushions to the frame) and we plugged it in, we really enjoyed it. The tan and brown color is perfect for our livingroom (we have lots of wood furniture). We appreciate the built-in phone chargers in the arms with the USB plugs. The ability to raise up the headrest is great. We really love the smoothness of the reclining feature. The material cleans up well. However, the couch itself is a bit hard. This provides pretty good back support. It's just not soft and cushy. My husband and I both have soft blankets draped on our back or seat areas to warm it up and make it more cushy. The drop-down cup holders are nice, although they're on the wrong side for where my husband and I sit on the couch. This is not the fault of the couch. I'm a lefty and the holder is on my right, and my husband is right-handed and the holder is on his left. Overall though, this is a very nice couch, and the price on Amazon was the absolute BEST I could find, especially during the Black Friday sales.

No dislikes. The sofa is exactly as described. The cushions are very firm, the headrests are adjustable and the storage is fantastic. The center "island" of the sofa of course does not recline but can be used either for sitting or you can drop down the middle back to expose 2 extra cup holders, 2 headlamp lights, 2 USBs, and 2 outlets PLUS storage for magazines, etc. The sofa has 2 more cup holders, 1 each on the right and left recliner PLUS the armrests open to expose very deep and long storage compartments. What more can you ask? I'm 5'10" and my feet do not hang off the recliner. My husband at 6'5"...yes, his feet are off the recliner but that's with everything he's ever sat in. Now for the delivery companies involved. Amazon took their good sweet time with transporting the sofa to the delivery companies. The sofa was purchased on February 9th with delivery scheduled for the 11th or 12. Amazon DID NOT turn the sofa over for delivery for FIVE WEEKS. This was not an error on the part of NSD who upon receipt of the sofa turned it over to Blue Marble for delivery in Delaware. Both NSD and Blue Marble were both great to work with and did what was required to deliver the sofa properly, promptly, and in great shape. I can't begin to tell you how much my husband and I appreciated that as we are both in our mid to late 70s. Some people are blaming the delivery services for the wait when they should be blaming Amazon who is the shipper....their trucks, are their problem. AMAZON, on the other hand, I'd like to ring their necks for lying to me. Not ONE customer service rep could find this sofa for 5 weeks. No one knew where it was, what shape it was in, or even what state and what warehouse they had it sitting in. While customer service really made an effort to find it and did compensate some minor "cash back" for the inconvenience, the higher-up mucky mucks who set the original delivery date of the 11th or 12th and kept us waiting 5 weeks should be cleaning toilets at a rest stop somewhere in the desert. Would I buy this sofa again....absolutely. Would I ever buy a large ticket piece of furniture through Amazon again? Absolutely not. As with all furniture, you should take the extra warranty. I extended the manufacturer's warranty with additional coverage for 3 years, which by the way, Amazon ate 5 weeks of by misplacing the sofa.

The Signature Design by Ashley Next‑Gen Durapella Power Reclining Sofa itself is fantastic — comfortable, supportive, and a great value, especially with the Black Friday pricing. The Durapella fabric feels soft but durable, and the power reclining is smooth and quiet. Once the sofas were finally in the house, we were thrilled with the quality. The delivery experience, however, was a completely different story. When we placed the order, we selected a delivery date in January 2026. Despite that, we received a text saying the couches would be delivered in early December — while we were out of the country. After hours on the phone with Amazon customer service, we were told the date couldn’t be changed and that the sofas would simply be left on the porch. We eventually contacted the third‑party delivery company directly, but they kept referring us back to Amazon, saying only Amazon could change the date. After more back‑and‑forth, they finally escalated the issue and agreed to delay delivery until we returned. Then came another hurdle: they insisted we had only paid for curbside delivery. It took another round of calls and sending them our invoice showing “threshold delivery” before they agreed to bring the couches inside. To their credit, once everything was sorted out, the delivery team followed through exactly as promised. All in all, we love the couches and are very happy with the product itself. If you can stomach a potentially frustrating delivery process, the savings and the quality of the sofa may still be worth it.

The sofa is nice and fairly comfortable, it was very firm for a few days but where I sit has sank drastically and although I’m on the heavier side (250) for the price this shouldn’t have sunk so quickly. I’m disappointed that such “quality” furniture seems so cheap. Everything else works great and looks great but I fear within a year I’ll have to replace it if it keeps sagging I may fall through it.
