Glow in the Dark Anti Slip Tape 2 in x 30 ft, Clear Non-Slip Grip

This stuff is great. I was looking for something that was yellow and visible during the day. Not just the clear stuff that glows in the dark at night. This really fit the bill for both day and night time awareness for steps and other potential hazards. The fact that is also grippy is an added bonus. Adding photos showing both day and night time effectiveness.

Have a wooden ramp on to my back porch that was originally made for an arthritic St Bernard and covered in artificial turf. The St Bernard and the turf are long gone, leaving a slick wood surface. Didn't want to do a whole recover because we are going to be doing a major renovation soon but needed something to avoid a major crash and burn. I put 3 strips lengthwise on the ramp. The wood is worn and not very smooth and I was concerned it wouldn't stick but so far it's doing great. Have had it down in a very high traffic area with people and dogs for about 2 months. Haven't had a lot of rain yet so not sure if that could be a problem. Putting it down was super easy. It's sticky but not so much that you can't reposition it as long as you haven't really pressed it down hard. I did 10 foot strips by just unrolling along the line I drew and pressing it lightly until I was sure it was where I wanted it then going back over it several times with my hands to be sure it adheres. Now if it holds up I'd say it's perfect! So far no sign of wear or not sticking.

PLEASE READ TO THE END: LOVED this tape when I put it down on a sunny, warm day in November. It was easy to apply, very anti-skid and adhered well to the dry wooden steps out back. Fast forward to December 31. After two months of rather temperate weather for western PA, we had a full day of light rain. Went outside yesterday morning. On my trip down the steps, it must've buckled (first pic) but I didn't notice it until going back up the steps (second pic) when it wrinkled significantly. At this point, it's just sitting there slimy on the back. I'm pretty sure it'll re-adhere when it's dry and warm, but that's not what I wanted it for. I wanted it to be more permanent in the wet weather so I DON'T SLIP. I'd have to tack it down with a staple gun, but then I'd have to watch super carefully to step only where it's tacked. Would not purchase again. Sorry. And it wasn't cheap and there is still about 30 feet left on the roll. : ( ADDENDUM: After posting my review of this tape, I was contacted by the seller offering an apology and a full refund. I thanked them and declined. However, he replied that he DID, in fact, refund my money and offered to send me another roll if I chose. I upped my star rating to FOUR STARS due to the integrity of this seller. It is possible this roll was defective, who knows? But the SELLER IS TOP NOTCH! I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY FROM THIS SELLER AGAIN!

I used this to retape my skateboard back in the day and weirdly enough it worked well however aggressive the tape was on my shoes haha super aggressive grip for other applications maybe dont use it on a skateboard

I recently completed a steps and deck from treated wood. Even in daylight, the steps blended with each other creating an obvious hazard since the steps were indistinguishable from each other. At night the steps were even more treacherous. First I tried bright colored non reflective duct tape. It helped but still required the porch light for illumination. The tape began to wear so I searched for a better solution. I finally found this glow in the dark tape. I was skeptical that it wouldn’t perform as advertised. I was especially concerned because part of the steps was always in shade. I was also concerned that the glow would not last until just before the dawn when I needed it most. Was I ever surprised. I applied the tape on 8 steps 44 inches wide and 20 inches deep. I started my application in the early part of the day with steps in the daylight. I finished the remaining steps in the shade just before sunset. I turned on the porch light for2 or 3 hours to give the last application a boost. The next morning before any daylight the steps were equally bright with a full charge on both sections. Exceeds expectation. I ordered more for another project.

We have wooden stairs and it's very slippery when walking up and down with the socks on, causing a safety hazard. I almost slipped and twisted my ankle the other day. After researching/reviewing many products on the market, I decided to go with this product for the price and durability. This transparent anti-slip tape is nicely pre-cut (4"x24" each) to a perfect size and it can be cut into smaller sizes, if needed. Its adhesive side will easily stick to any hard surfaces (wooded, tile, composite floor) and can be removed. It has a texture on top so it will prevent from slipping. Bottom line: Satisfied with this product and recommend to others.

EDIT: The seller contacted me in response to my review and gave me a refund on the product. When it's time to replace it, I'll be sure to consider their other product offerings. Hard not to appreciate a proactive and helpful vendor! I bought this for a tricky step-up in a condo hallway. It's super-vivid and stuck well to the tiles; unfortunately, the nature of the material means it picks up shoe-prints easily -- it looked dirty and tired within hours of applications. So far it's holding up on the tiles, but on the (clean, well-prepared) concrete steps outdoors, it came up after a day. So, not my favorite. Once it comes up in our hallway, I'll replace it with something else.

Applied this to laminate flooring on our rental bathroom floor. It becomes extraordinary slippery when wet and very dangerous. My husband has balance issues, so I needed to find a way to reduce his fall risk. Being a rental, it was important to find something that would be less likely to damage the floor, as well. I purchased the clear version, it is visible but not a big issue to me. I did lay out the strips prior to removing the backing, to get the pattern I wanted. Then, swept and wiped the floor down with Bona laminate spray, made sure it was dry, applied the strips. It was very simple. Another reviewer mentioned the roller that comes with the strips not really helpful for applying pressure over the surface to remove air bubbles. The handle bends so much, you really can't get any decent pressure on it. I luckily had a flat edge silicone scraper I used to go over each strip. I didn't worry about damaging the floor, but got a good seal on the strips. It has been a couple of days (applied 12/4/2020) and so far everything looking good. The traction in the bathroom is a million times better! Going forward, I will be watching to make sure strips are staying stuck and also how easy it is/or it isn't to keep clean. I will update as time goes on if things change :)

Easy To Use.. Works Incredible

Very good and wide anti-slip tape. I used it in an indoor wood slippery stairs to prevent possible injuries. In place now for more than 3 weeks, and so far so good. Waiting in order to judge it more to decide whether to keep it at 4 stars or upgrade it to 5 stars.

The tape doesn't peel up and stays down. Very good anti-slip, even in the rain.
