The velcro is Very Good, and it is able to soak atleast 2-3 Pees of my 2 month old Lab.But there is a practical problem with the design and it is not suitable for Male dogs. I feel making a pant type design would help.This is a simple flat pad which we have to wrap on the body. Now if you tighten the velcro when the dog is in standing position he will feel tight when he lays down or sleeps. As Dogs usually sleep sideways their tummy spreads on the floor and diameter of that part of the body increases. But the velco was tighten when the dog was standing when the diameter of the body was less. So this will act like a tight belt which we worn before going to marriage function and makes human feel uncomfortable after eating heavy food in marriage, we have to loosen the belt. Same situation happens with the dog as well.Now consider you wrap the diaper when he is sleeping and the diameter of the body is more. When he gets up and walks the diaper becomes ultra loose. Due to which the pee will spill down on floor plus the diaper because it is just wrapped it will keep rotating on his body.You can certainly keep tightening and loosening the diaper, but puppys sit, sleep and stand so many times a day it is not practical.A Pant type of design only for Pee is needed. Where the dog can do potty outside of the diaper but pee inside the diapers.There is such design available for female dogs but in that the dog will also do potty which will be messy!!Worth giving a thought around how to solve this!!
